Taking the environmental science and engineering major of a certain university in Northwest China as an example, this article conducted a statistical analysis of the employment units and the number of employees of students in the past five years. And taking the graduates in the past five years as samples, we conducted a survey on which knowledge and abilities are most used by graduates in their work, and which courses are more widely used in their work through questionnaire surveys, telephone interviews, and field surveys. According to the survey results, we analyzed the professional core abilities that environmental graduates should have, and based on the professional core abilities, we analyzed the professional ability elements required by environmental graduates, and constructed a course module system based on this, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the comprehensive ability training of environmental students.展开更多
