语块理论在高中英语听力教学中的应用

语块是形式与功能的统一体,它与特定的语境相联系,整体存储于记忆中,使用时直接提取,无需生成语法规则和分析。而听力理解的过程其实就是听者在收到语音信息时调动储存的记忆,筛选与之相关的内容进行解码的复杂心理认知过程。但在现行的英语听力教学过程中,教师并不注重对学生听力策略的指导,只是单纯地放听力、对答案,枯燥无味的听力课程已经成为学生们的负担。要想改变这种现状,教师必须通过各种教学活动,培养学生的语块意识,使学生以语块为单位进行听力理解,从而提高听力理解的效率。

Critical Period Hypothesis and Second Language Acquisition

As we all know,there are many factors affecting Second language acquisition,such as age,intelligence,environment,emotion and so on.Age is considered as one of the most important individual factors among all these.The researches about age arevery important to educational policy-making and curriculum-planning.It is believed that children always have superiority in sec-ond language acquisition when compared with adults.This is supported by Lenneberg's Critical Period Hypothesis.This papertalks about the relationship between age and second language acquisition and after which some teaching suggestion will be given.
