Intercultural sensitivity,performing an indispensable role in intercultural communication,has been paid much attention recently.A person with high intercultural sensitivity can well play his part of dual or even multi...Intercultural sensitivity,performing an indispensable role in intercultural communication,has been paid much attention recently.A person with high intercultural sensitivity can well play his part of dual or even multiple identities and can to accept new culture as well as blend himself in a new cultural environment.Therefore,it is of practical significance to carry out research related to intercultural sensitivity for further improvement in intercultural communication competence.According to Chen&Starosta(2000)[1],intercultural sensitivity consists of six aspects,self-esteem,self-monitoring,open-mindedness,empathy,interaction involvement and suspending judgment.The paper has made a brief review on previous studies of intercultural communication,aiming to offer some resources and information for the future studies on intercultural sensitivity.展开更多
