The discharge characteristics of the alloy were improve...The particles of Ml(NiCuAlZn) 5 hydrogen storage alloy (Ml denotes La rich rare earth mixture) were encapsulated with copper in sulfuric acid solution of CuSO 4. The discharge characteristics of the alloy were improved, especially at high discharge rates. The XRD analysis indicated that the crystal structure of Ml(NiCuAlZn) 5 remained unchanged in encapsulation. The SEM images showed that copper encapsulation effectively improved the corrosion resistance of the alloy.展开更多
