退耦近似在重味夸克分布函数标度演化中的应用

核子中存在非微扰的intrinsic重味夸克FOCK态是量子色动力学的一个严格理论预言,对这个预言的研究是当前重味夸克物理中的一个重要课题.采用退耦近似,忽略intrinsic重味夸克与轻味夸克及胶子的混合贡献,可把异常复杂的重整化群演化方程... 核子中存在非微扰的intrinsic重味夸克FOCK态是量子色动力学的一个严格理论预言,对这个预言的研究是当前重味夸克物理中的一个重要课题.采用退耦近似,忽略intrinsic重味夸克与轻味夸克及胶子的混合贡献,可把异常复杂的重整化群演化方程近似处理为通常的胶子、轻味夸克、extrinsic重味夸克演化方程及intrinsic重味夸克非单态演化方程.详细分析intrinsic粲夸克概率为1%,3.5%情况下退耦近似演化的计算结果,对退耦近似的可信度进行详细分析,给出退耦近似下任意概率粲夸克分布. 展开更多

LHC上重夸克偶素h_c(h_b)与光子伴随产生的研究

应用非相对论量子色动力学理论,对大型强子对撞机(LHC)上重夸克偶素h_c(h_b)与光子伴随产生进行研究.采用协变投影方法,计算pp→hQ+γ过程的总截面及其p_T微分截面,计算中考虑了Fock态n=~1S_0~8,~1P_1~1对于重夸克偶素h_Q的贡献.... 应用非相对论量子色动力学理论,对大型强子对撞机(LHC)上重夸克偶素h_c(h_b)与光子伴随产生进行研究.采用协变投影方法,计算pp→hQ+γ过程的总截面及其p_T微分截面,计算中考虑了Fock态n=~1S_0~8,~1P_1~1对于重夸克偶素h_Q的贡献.从计算结果可以看出:pp→h_c+γ过程的总截面在合理的参数空间内可以达到8×10~4 pb量级,pp→h_b+γ过程的总截面在合理的参数空间内可以达到1.5×10~6 pb量级.考虑到LHC的亮度,该过程有可能被LHC探测到.若该过程能够在LHC上进行研究,这将为非相对论量子色动力学提供一个重要的实验支撑. 展开更多

We calculate the complete next-to-leading order(NLO)QCD corrections to J/ψ+W associated production within the factorization formalism of nonrelativistic QCD at the 7 TeV Large Hadron Collider.We provide the numerical results for the leading-order(LO),NLO QCD corrected differential cross sections of the J/ψtransverse momentum by adopting the event selection criteria requested by the ATLAS experiment.It is found that the differential cross section at the LO is significantly enhanced by the NLO QCD corrections. 展开更多

The role of the triangle mechanism in the decay processes B_(0)→J/ψK^(0)f_(0)→J/ψK^(0)π^(+)π^(-)and B_(0)→J/ψK^(0)a_(0)→J/ψK^(0)π^(0)ηis probed.In these processes,the triangle singularity appears from the decay of B_(0)intoJ/ψ∅K^(0),and then,∅decays intoK^(0)K^(0)andK^(0)K^(0)merged into f_(0)or a_(0),which finally decay intoπ^(+)π^(-)andπ^(0)η,respectively.We find that this mechanism leads to a triangle singularity around M_(inv)(K^(0)f_(0)(a_(0)))≈1520 MeV and gives sizable branching fractions Br(B_(0)→J/ψK^(0)f_(0)→J/ψK^(0)π^(+)π^(-))=7.67×10^(-7)and Br(B_(0)→J/ψK^(0)a_(0)→J/ψK^(0)π^(0)η)=1.42×10^(-7).This investigation can help us obtain the information of the scalar mesonf_(0)(980)or a_(0)(980). 展开更多

Explanation of Y(4630) as a hadronic resonant state

Theorists have given various explanations for the discovery of Y(4630).We find that if Y(4630)is inter-preted as the D-wave resonant state of the ∧_(c)∧_(c)。system,the particle mass,decay width,and all quantum numbers are consistent with experimental observations.We use the Bonn approximation to obtain the interaction potential of the one boson exchange model.Then,we extend the complex scaling method to calculate the bound and resonant states.The results indicate that the ∧_(c)∧_(c) system can form not only the bound state of the S wave but also the reson-ant state of the high angular momentum,and the ^(3)D_(1) wave resonant state can explain the structure of Y(4630)very Well. 展开更多

Searches for Dark Matter via Mono-W Production in Inert Doublet Model at the LHC

The Inert Doublet Model(IDM) is one of the many beyond Standard Model scenarios with an extended scalar sector, which provide a suitable dark matter particle candidate. Dark matter associated visible particle production at high energy colliders provides a unique way to determine the microscopic properties of the dark matter particle. In this paper, we investigate that the mono-W + missing transverse energy production at the Large Hadron Collider(LHC),where W boson decay to a lepton and a neutrino. We perform the analysis for the signal of mono-W production in the IDM and the Standard Model(SM) backgrounds, and the optimized criteria employing suitable cuts are chosen in kinematic variables to maximize signal significance. We also investigate the discovery potential in several benchmark scenarios at the 14 TeV LHC. When the light Z_2 odd scalar higgs of mass is about 65 GeV, charged Higgs is in the mass range from 120 GeV to 250 GeV, it provides the best possibility with a signal significance of about 3σ at an integrated luminosity of about 3000 fb^(-1). 展开更多

Next-to-leading order QCD corrections to Higgs boson decay to quarkonium plus a photon

We find that the decay width fo... In this paper, we investigate the decay of the Higgs boson to J/ψ(γ ) plus a photon based on NRQCD factorization. For the direct process, we calculate the decay width up to QCD NLO. We find that the decay width for process H → J/ψ(γ ) +γ direct production at the LO is significantly reduced by the NLO QCD corrections. For the indirect process, we calculate the H→γ*γ, with virtual 7 substantially decaying to J/ψ(γ), including all the SM Feynman diagrams. The decay width of indirect production is much larger than the direct decay width. Since it is very clean in experiment, the H →J/ψ( γ) +γ decay could be observable at a 14 TeV LHC and it also offers a new way to probe the Yukawa coupling and New Physics at the LHC. 展开更多

The Inert Doublet Model(IDM)is one of the simplest extensions beyond the Standard Model(SM)with an extended scalar sector,which provides a scalar dark matter particle candidate.In this study,we investigated the double charged Higgs production at aγγcollider.By scanning the whole parameter space,we obtained the parameter points corresponding to the correct relic abundance of dark matter.After applying all theoretical and experimental constraints,the parameter space for the existence of dark matter was extremely restricted.We performed an analysis of the signal of H+H-production in the IDM and the SM background,with the optimized selection conditions chosen for the kinematic variables to maximize the signal significance.Comparing the signal with the background,we obtained the parameter points that may be detected in futureγγcollider experiments. 展开更多
