One hundred and sixty endophytic bacteria strains were isolated from healthy tobacco plants in severely diseased plots in Guiyang county,Hunan province.Three endophytic bacteria strains: H-1,H-9 and H-11 showed relati...One hundred and sixty endophytic bacteria strains were isolated from healthy tobacco plants in severely diseased plots in Guiyang county,Hunan province.Three endophytic bacteria strains: H-1,H-9 and H-11 showed relatively strong antagonistic against Ralstonia solanacearum.Strain H-1 was identified as Bacillus subtilis,while strains H-9 and H-11 were identified as Bacillus brevis by their morphological,physiological and biochemical characteristics.Results from several experiment trials showed that the endophytic bacteria could reduce the disease incidence of tobacco.The control efficiency reached from 84.3% to 98.7%,it indicated that biocontrol with endophytic bacteria was an alternative and potential method to control tobacco bacterial disease.展开更多
