Methods: The depression screening scale PHQ-9, the family care index questionnaire compiled by Smilkstein, an American scholar in 1978, and the life satisfaction scale were used to survey a college student. A total of 1828 effective questionnaires were collected, with an efficiency of 99%. Results: Analyzing the data through SPSS25.0 and Process, depression significantly reverses the life satisfaction of college students;There is an intermediary effect between college students’ depression and life satisfaction, and the indirect effect of the intermediary effect: −0.031.
