The search for the heat treatment of Ⅲ-Ⅴ compound semiconductors was started with the P-type InAs by Dixon et al. in 1959, and from 1960 attention turned to focus on GaAs instead of on InAs. For these two materials, it is deemed in general that copper is the source leading to the heat treatment effect. With respect to the study of the heat treatment of InSb, Hulme and Mullin’s review article is generally regarded as a rather comprehensive report. Two kinds of experiments have been carried out.
