A 45% aqueous CaCl 2 solution containing 0 2% hydroxyethyl cellulose was used as the water phase. The copoly merization gave a yield more than 90% and copolymers with ion exchange capacity of 12 mmol/g were obtained. The effects of synthesis conditions, including the ratio of monomer to diluent, reaction temperture, on the resin properties were examined.展开更多
