Through the interactive framework of author-original work-translator-translation-reader, this paper starts from the perspective of the translator’s subjectivity to explore how the translator, while respecting the original work, achieves accurate meaning conversion and effective cultural exchange through creative language transformation and cultural transmission. The study finds that Howard Goldblatt fully demonstrated the translator’s subjectivity in the translation process, not only creatively transforming on the linguistic level but also appropriately compensating on the cultural level, providing readers with a translation that is both faithful to the original work and full of artistic charm.展开更多
