On the basis of the construction principle of the subject evaluation index system, this paper determines several indicators of the evaluation system by reading literature and relevant descriptions of the fourth round of subject evaluation, calculates the weights of indicators at all levels by using analytic hierarchy process, and establishes the subject evaluation index system. Finally, the application of subject evaluation index system, the selection of some universities mathematics subject construction related data. According to the specific situation of the participating schools, the index system is used to calculate and analyze the results and draw a conclusion. The participating schools can have a basic understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of their own discipline development, clarify their development direction, and enhance their discipline strength.展开更多
