嘉禾村重视两个文明协调发展

无锡县华庄镇在改革开放的大潮中又升起了一颗新星:嘉禾村,1994第一次成为华庄镇八个亿元村之一,在两个文明建设的道路上迈开了新的一步。该村紧靠华庄镇新工业区及苏锡公路,全村人口1789人,耕地面积1400余亩,现全村共有集体企业7个,个体私营企业8个,企业固定资产3472万元。去年,全村完成工农业总产值1.03亿元,销售8347万元,利润120余万,人均年收入达3548元。全村1994年度经济总量居全镇24个行政村中第六位。
