It is shown that the velocity and magnetic field parallel to the wave vector can be arbitrary constants. The velocity and magnetic field perpendicular to the wave vector are both helical waves. Moreover, the amplitude of the velocity perpendicular to the wave vector is related to the wave number and the circular frequency. In addition, further studies indicate that, no matter whether the uniform ambient magnetic field exists or not, the forms of the travelling wave solutions do not change.展开更多

By using the standard reductive perturbation technique, the Zakharov-Kuznetsov (ZK) equation is derived and this equation gives the solitary wave solution. It is observed that the relativistic effects, the ratio of the cold to hot electron unperturbed number density and the magnetic field normalized by electron cyclotron frequency significantly influence the solitary structures.展开更多

It is found that the introduction of a uniform background distribution reduces the growth rate and real frequency of LHDI at all wavelengths. Some physical explanations about the effects of the background distribution are provided.展开更多

The plasma generator's particle flux density only contributes to the exponential attenuation zone, and has no effect on the linear attenuation zone The average electron density in the linear attenuation zone is about 10-5 of neutral particle density, and can diffuse over a wider area. The conclusion will supply some valuable references to the research of electromagnetic wave and artificial plasma interaction, the plasma invisibleness research of missile and special aerocraft, and the design of artificial plasma source.展开更多

It is shown that the left-handed helical modes play a major role on the spectral transfer properties of turbulence when the generalized helicity and magnetic helicity are both positive. In contrast, the right-handed helical modes will play a major role when both are negative. Furthermore, we also find that if the generalized helicity and magnetic helicity have opposite signs, the tendency of equilibrium spectra to condense at the large or small wave numbers will be presented in different helical sectors. This indicates that the generalized helicity dominates the forward cascade and the magnetic helicity dominates the inverse cascade properties of the Hall MHD turbulence.展开更多
