光学腔中一维玻色-哈伯德模型的奇异超固相

Using the mean-field normalized Lugiato-Lefever equation,we theoretically investigate the dynamics of cavity soliton and comb generation in the presence of Raman effect and the third-order dispersion.Both of them can induce the temporal drift and frequency shift.Based on the moment analysis method,we analytically obtain the temporal and frequency shift,and the results agree with the direct numerical simulation.Finally,the compensation and enhancement of the soliton spectral between the Raman-induced self-frequency shift and soliton recoil are predicted.Our results pave the way for further understanding the soliton dynamics and spectral characteristics,and providing an effective route to manipulate frequency comb. 展开更多

Characterization of topological phase of superlattices in superconducting circuits

The recent experimental observation of topological magnon insulator states in a superconducting circuit chain marks a breakthrough for topological physics with qubits, in which a dimerized qubit chain has been realized. Here, we extend such a dimer lattice to superlattice with arbitrary number of qubits in each unit cell in superconducting circuits, which exhibits rich topological properties. Specifically, by considering a quadrimeric superlattice, we show that the topological invariant(winding number) can be effectively characterized by the dynamics of the single-excitation quantum state through time-dependent quantities. Moreover, we explore the appearance and detection of the topological protected edge states in such a multiband qubit system. Finally, we also demonstrate the stable Bloch-like-oscillation of multiple interface states induced by the interference of them. Our proposal can be readily realized in experiment and may pave the way towards the investigation of topological quantum phases and topologically protected quantum information processing. 展开更多

Tunable two-axis spin model and spin squeezing in two cavities

Multi-mode cavities have now attracted much attention both experimentally and theoretically. In this paper, inspired by recent experiments of cavity-assisted Raman transitions, we realize a two-axis spin Hamiltonian H = q(J_x^2+ χJ_y^2) + ω_0J_z in two cavities. This realized Hamiltonian has a distinct property that all parameters can be tuned independently. For proper parameters, the well-studied one- and two-axis twisting Hamiltonians are recovered, and the scaling of N^(-1) of the maximal squeezing factor can occur naturally. On the other hand, in the two-axis twisting Hamiltonian, spin squeezing is usually reduced when increasing the atomic resonant frequency ω_0. Surprisingly, we find that by combining with the dimensionless parameter χ(-1), this atomic resonant frequency ω_0 can enhance spin squeezing greatly. These results are beneficial for achieving the required spin squeezing in experiments. 展开更多

Topological quantum states have attracted great attention both theoretically and experimentally.Here,we show that the momentum-space lattice allows us to couple two Su-Schrieffer-Heeger(SSH)chains with opposite dimerizations and staggered interleg hoppings.The coupled SSH chain is a four-band model which has sublattice symmetry similar to the SSH4.Interestingly,the topological edge states occupy two sublattices at the same time,which can be regarded as a one-dimension analogue of the type-II corner state.The analytical expressions of the edge states are also obtained by solving the eigenequations.Finally,we provide a possible experimental scheme to detect the topological winding number and corresponding edge states. 展开更多
