创世神话是原始人类对开天辟地、万物生成、人类起源及存在的整体思考与想象,不同的创世神话体现了不同的文化特征。了解中西方重要的创世神话有利于理解中西方文化的差异。对中国与希腊的几则主要的创世神话进行了比较,分析了两个民族的民族文化和民族精神。

On Application of Nida's Translation Priorities

This paper analyzes Nida's theory of translation,also his system of priorities.The paper uses examples to illustrate the application of Nida's four priorities in the practice of English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation and concludes that we can apply the system to help the receptors of second language and source language to have the closest response.
