On March 10, Shanxi CPC Publicity Department, the Provincial Office of Spiritual Civilization Building, and the Provincial Shanxi Merchants’ Culture Research Center held in Beijing a Forum of "Furthering Shanxi Merchants’ Culture and Promoting Social Honesty and Commercial Credit-worthiness". Present at the forum were 50 people, who were composed of the provincial NPC deputies and CPPCC members, who were attending the "Two Meetings" in Beijing, well-known entrepreneurs from industrial and commercial circles, and responsible people from the Central Ministry of Publicity, the State Office of Spiritual Civilization Building, the State Administration of Radio, Film and TV, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, as well as some scholars and experts.
