The implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative has further enhanced the influence of the way in which cultural exchange occurs between the two countries. This paper will examine the Russian translation methods of culture-loaded words in the book “I’m Going to Xinjiang”. The objective is to provide an accurate reflection of Xinjiang’s natural history, traditional culture and social economy, while simultaneously disseminating Chinese culture, showcasing Chinese images and enriching relevant research on the Russian translation of culture-loaded words.展开更多

Idioms are an important part of Chinese culture, most of them are derived from historical writings and mythological fables, which have communication and rich cultural significance. The article analyses and summarizes the translation methods of Russian translation of Chinese idioms under the perspective of communicative translation theory, and links theory with practice to achieve better translation effects.展开更多
