The dynamic characteristics of the phenomenon are investigated by analysing the motion of an oil lens deposited at the surface of the aqueous solution of 1-butanol. The interfacial adsorption kinetics based on diffusion-controlled transfer is analysed. It is found that the linear relation between the frequence of the oscillatory motion of the lens and t1/2 is a characteristic relation. The type of the solute transfer in the interfacial instability is discussed by comparing experimental results with the linear characteristics.展开更多
