The in-depth exploration in this field not only aims to strengthen the safety defense line of buildings, but also focuses on beautifying the urban landscape, improving the quality of residents’ living, and achieving the goals of resource conservation and efficient utilization. In recent years, significant progress has been made in the field of the reinforcement and renovation technology of concrete structures, giving birth to a series of mature and diversified technical solutions, such as carbon fiber cloth bonding reinforcement, clad steel reinforcement, section enlargement method, and steel bonding reinforcement. These methods have their own characteristics, fully demonstrating the richness and adaptability of renovation and reinforcement technology. Among them, the clad steel reinforcement has become a hot research topic in recent years due to its mature technology and wide applicability. Although this method has shown significant results in practice, there are still theoretical bottlenecks, such as the unclear interaction mechanism between steel plates and concrete, and the corresponding mechanical analysis models need to be improved. Therefore, in order to further explore the potential of the clad steel reinforcement method and improve the scientific and reliable effectiveness of reinforcement and renovation, it is urgent to carry out more in-depth and detailed experimental research and theoretical analysis, so as to solve the existing problems and promote the technology to play a more important role in the future of urban renewal and reinforcement and renovation of building projects.展开更多
