Two series of samples, Nd: KGW (Nd doped gadolinium potassium tungstate) and (Ce,Nd): KGW, were prepared by solid reaction, and excited at 808 nm of wave length by using diode laser device at room temperature. Two above conversion fluorescent peaks were observed at 534 nm and 600 nm. The composition and preparation technique of Nd∶KGW luminescent material matrix were investigated, and the mechanism of above conversion luminescence was disscussed. The role of sensitizer (Ce 3+ ) in enhancing luminescence strength was initially studied. 展开更多
