It constructs an evaluation index system based on the number of new product developments in enterprises and regions, the number of large-scale manufacturing industries, the number of patent applications, industrial product transaction volume, industrial output, and industrial turnover transportation rate. The research results indicate that the overall innovation capability score in the central and western regions of China is relatively low and there is uneven internal development, but there are still opportunities to enhance innovation capability.展开更多
