The cutting edge of the needle was made parallel to the body longitudinal axis, then inserted perpendicularly from the tender point of the L 3 transverse process into the surface of the process with 2 to 3 cuts horizontally to the trip adhesion. For the sever or long term case, the manipulator tripped horizontally, then turned the cutting edge to be vertical to the spine with another 2 to 3 cuts, withdrew the needle when having the loose sensation between the muscle and bone. After that, the manipulation of separating and restoring soft tissues and elbow pressing were done on the L 3 transverse process area. Chiropractic manipulation of rotational reduction on the lumbar vertebra was also applied for those patients whose spinal process was deviated. The results showed that 58 case were cured, 7 markedly improved, 3 effective and 2 ineffective. The total effective rate amounted to 97.14%. Among them 38 cases were cured after one treatment, 12 after two and 8 after three and more treatments.展开更多
