The tombs can be divided into cliff cave chamber and vertical stone chamber. The tombs of Early period mostly have cliff cave chambers, comparatively complicated structures and a large size, while the tombs belong to Late period, have vertical chambers , simple structures and a small size, thus making a sharp contrast and reflecting decline of Liangguo state. The tombs also carry the following distribution features: king and queen were buried on the same hill,the king’s on the south,while the queen’s on the north. The earlier deceased kings were buried on bigger hill, whereas the later deceased, on smaller ones.展开更多

Yueshi Culture of Yudong Area originated from Wangy...Yudong Area, archaeologically consist of today’s eastern part of Henan Province, south -western part of Shangdong Province and north-western part of Anhui Province. Yueshi Culture of Yudong Area originated from Wangyoufang Type of Longshan Culture and later were replaced by Erligang Upper Layer which extended from west. For its obvious local characteristics Yueshi Culture of Yudong Area can be regarded as a local type; but wholly speaking,Yueshi Culture of Shandong and Yudong belong to the same series. Yueshi Culture of Yudong Area neighboured on Erlitou Culture in west, and on Pre-shang Culture in north. It is inevitable that Yueshi Culture of Yudong contained some elements of Erlitou and Pre-shang Culture. It reflected the picture of Yudong Area of Xia Dynasty when Xia, Yi and Shang-three kinds of archaeological cultures interchanged and affected mutually.展开更多
