Diabetes is a global disease. According to the latest report, the total number of people with diabetes is still increasing year by year, and the current global prevalence of diabetes is 6.1%, which can lead to disability and even death. Cardiovascular complications of diabetes mellitus are one of the most serious chronic complications of diabetes mellitus, with high incidence, high disability, high mortality and poor prognosis. The exact pathogenesis of the disease has not been clearly determined, and it is still a problem that needs to be discussed. At present, studies have shown that in the early stage of diabetic myocardial disease, patients have abnormal heart-related functions. Echocardiography is usually used as an important means to detect left ventricular function in clinic. In this paper, the trend of diabetes at home and abroad in recent years, the background of left ventricular systolic dysfunction in diabetic cardiomyopathy, the pathogenesis and the research progress of auxiliary examination are reviewed.展开更多
