The day surgery model, as a new type of hospitalization model, has seen rapid development in China for laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery, which is an important surgical method for hernia repair, offering unique advantages in many aspects. The scheduling of day surgery can effectively alleviate the pressure of supply and demand, significantly reduce the average length of stay, and optimize resource allocation.
