Integrating cognitive psychology, sociocultural theory, visual arts, and a multidimensional science communication framework, the study analyzes how cross-cultural symbols, internet culture elements, and other novel visual techniques can enhance the transmission and understanding of scientific information. Through case studies, the study demonstrates the potential of these innovative visual elements to enhance the visual appeal of scientific papers, facilitate the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and improve public science education. Additionally, the study discusses the challenges faced in designing innovative illustrations, such as balancing scientific accuracy with cultural sensitivity. This study calls for interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, illustrators, and science communication experts to promote the integration of science and society.展开更多
