The artistic and literary value contained within it has been extensively studied not only domestically but also through significant achievements in English translation. This paper will focus on the English translations by Jin Jiepu and the collaborative version by Jin Di and Bai Ying, examining the re-presentation of regional culture and the communication of its aesthetic features during the translation process. Through a comparative analysis of different English versions, this study will attempt to reveal the challenges faced by translators in conveying the unique regional culture and aesthetic experience of “Border Town”, as well as the strategies they employed. The goal is to provide a new perspective and approach for the study of English translations of Chinese literature, explore the value of translation aesthetics in disseminating distinctive regional culture from China, and promote cultural exchange.展开更多
