He is and entrepreneur who is noble-minded and always ready to help others, and has special sympathy toeards those who are in adversity or in poverty. He would try his best to hilp them and express his feelings by writing articles. In Sep.1003,Mr. SATO arrived in Taiyuan from Beijing via Datong. Attracted by the desolation and openness of the scenery on his way to Taiyuan, he took and great interest in Shanxi. In Taiyuan he visited Kangren Sino-Japan Friendship Hospital which was managed by Mr. HIRAI,Jinci Temple and Chongshansi Temple. The love for China made Mr. SATO a craving for studying Chinese. He and some of his friends got organized to study Chinese together, and editted and published a small scripted newspater in Chinese. By running the newspaper, he studied Chinese and publicized the friendship between China and Japan.
