Methods: The diagnosis and treatment process of the case was reviewed, and the manifestations and treatment prognosis of the disease were analyzed in the light of relevant literature. Results: Based on the patient’s medical history, symptoms, signs, systemic auxiliary examination, fundus photography, syphilis serology and cerebrospinal fluid examination, the patient was diagnosed as “syphilitic optic neuritis of the left eye”, and was treated with penicillin injection, and the condition was stabilised after 5 months of follow-up. Conclusion: Syphilitic optic neuritis is not common in the clinic, and early diagnosis and timely treatment are very important for controlling the disease and improving the patient’s visual function.展开更多
