Results showd that in the trearment group, 6 cases were maredly effective, 27 effective and 2 ineffective, with an effective rate of 94. 29 %; in the control group, 2 cases were markedly effective, 10 effective and 18 ineffective, with an effective rate of 40. 00%. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the effective rate (P < 0.01). The acupuncture therapy is strikingly superior to treatment of prosopalgia with Western medicine and has lower side-effects and a lower recurrence rate.展开更多
