The tomb consists of a passag...In 2001, the Changsha Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavated a tomb of the Eastern Jin period at Datang Village of Xingang Town in Kaifu District, Changsha City. The tomb consists of a passage and a pit, and has an arched top and a brick chamber. Altogether 20 pieces/sets of funeral objects were unearthed from it, including celadon, bronzes, irons, talcum articles, goldware and silverware, with the first class as the main part. The tomb is in the best condition among the Jin burials recently discovered in the Changsha area. Rich in grave goods and especially valuable for the unearthed talcum tomb-guard with the dating inscription 'tenth year of Xianhe reign,' it provided important reference data for the chronological study of Jin tombs in the Changsha area.展开更多
