论沉默现象及其文化差异

语言是人类交流的重要手段,而沉默同样能传达丰富的信息,甚至是语言难以表达的内容。然而,在不同的地区,不同的文化中,人们对沉默的理解也大不相同,这些差异往往会在跨文化交流中产生误解。该文拟从文化差异的角度阐释沉默现象在东西方文化中的不同定义,以及东西方文化对待沉默的不同态度和表现,从而提高交际的有效性。

中西文化中思维方式的比较

思维方式是文化的基础,也是文化的核心内容。思维方式是沟通文化和语言的桥梁。思维方式的差异是造成文化差异的一个主要原因,它也是造成语言差异的一个重要原因。本文从三个方面对中西文化中的思维方式进行比较并给予评价。

A Study on Vocabulary Differences between American English and British English

This paper starts from the important component of a language,namely vocabulary,in which differences between AE and BE are comprehensively observed and analyzed.In this paper,comparisons are made to explore the characteristics of the two varieties of English respectively rather than to judge which is superior to the other.This will help us to obtain a better understanding of the English language,to facilitate the expression of it,to improve the capacity of using it,and to enrich the knowledge about it.

大学英语教学改革试点研究——以我院大学英语教学改革为例

本文采用问卷调查法分析兰州理工大学技术工程学院大学英语学习的现状及存在的问题。针对分析结果所揭示的问题，从修订教学大纲、大学英语课程设置模式、教学方法、考核与评价方式等方面进行改革，并提出转变教育思想、改善教学条件、加强课堂教学改革、加强大学英语师资队伍建设等思路和建议。
