We report a 65-year-old male patient who presented to his general practitioner with a poroid hidradenoma in zone 2 of the flexor surface of his left middle finger. Diagnosis was confirmed histologically, after which the patient was referred to us for wider excision. Although poroid hidradenoma is a benign tumour, wide local excision is mandatory.
