METHO...AIM:To study the correlation between high metastasisassociated protein 1(MTA1)expression and lymphangiogenesis in colorectal cancer(CRC)and its role in production of vascular endothelial growth factor-C(VEGF-C). METHODS:Impact of high MTA1 and VEGF-C expression levels on disease progression and lymphovasculardensity(LVD,D2-40-immunolabeled)in 81 cases of human CRC was evaluated by immunohistochemistry. VEGF-C mRNA and protein expressions in human LoVo and HCT116 cell lines were detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting,respectively,with a stable expression vector or siRNA. RESULTS:The elevated MTA1 and VEGF-C expression levels were correlated with lymph node metastasis and Dukes stages(P<0.05).Additionally,high MTA1 expression level was correlated with a large tumor size(P< 0.05).A significant correlation was found between MTA1 and VEGF-C protein expressions in tumor cells(r=0.371, P<0.05).Similar to the VEGF-C expression level,high MTA1 expression level was correlated with high LVD in CRC(P<0.05).Furthermore,over-expression of MTA1 significantly enhanced the VEGF-C mRNA and protein expression levels,whereas siRNAs-knocked down MTA1 decreased the VEGF-C expression level. CONCLUSION:MTA1,as a regulator of tumor-associated lymphangiogenesis,promotes lymphangiogenesis in CRC by mediating the VEGF-C expression.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the effect of You-Gui Yin on glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and its possible mechanism.Methods:20 SD rats were divided into normal saline group and ...Objective:To investigate the effect of You-Gui Yin on glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and its possible mechanism.Methods:20 SD rats were divided into normal saline group and You-Gui Yin group.Ten rats in each group were given normal saline and You-Gui Yin by gavage for 2 weeks,once daily.After the gavage,the rats were sacrificed by spinal removal,blood was taken from the abdominal aorta and centrifuged to obtain blank serum and medicated serum.The rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were extracted and cultured and administered in groups:blank group(10%blank serum),Model group(10%blank serum+dexamethasone 5×10-5mol/ml),traditional Chinese medicine group(10%medicated serum+dexamethasone 5×10-5mol/ml),control group(10%medicated serum),CCK-8 method was used to detect cell proliferation changes in different groups,ELISA method was used to detect bone alkaline phosphatase levels in each group,Alizarin red staining was used to compare red-stained calcium mineralized nodules in each group,Western Blot Detect the expression of apoptosis-related proteins in BMSCs,and perform molecular docking of the quantitative components to evaluate the binding strength and activity of the target and the active compound.Results:The ratio of absorbance(A450)in each time period of the model group was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the ratio of absorbance(A450)between the traditional Chinese medicine group and the control group was significantly higher than that of the model group(P<0.05).There was no difference between the control group and the blank group(P>0.05);ELISA method showed that the ALP level of the model group was significantly lower than that of the blank group and the control group(P<0.05),the traditional Chinese medicine group significantly increased the ALP level(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the control group and the blank group;Observation of the number of calcium mineralized nodules under alizarin red staining microscope suggests that the number of calcium mineralized nodules in the model group is significantly lower than that of each group,and there is no significant difference between the control group and the blank group.Both groups are higher than the model group and traditional Chinese medicine Group;Western Blot indicated that compared with the blank group,the expression levels of proapoptotic proteins Bax and Cleaved-casepase-3 in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.01),and the expression levels of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 were decreased(P<0.01),on the contrary in the traditional Chinese medicine group,the expression of the control group did not change significantly compared with the blank group;the molecular docking results showed that You-Gui Yin mainly regulates the apoptosis of BMSCs through Epicatechin 5,7,3'-trimethyl ether,Delphinin,etc.promote bone formation.Conclusion:You-Gui Yin medicated serum can protect BMSCs from apoptosis induced by GCs and promote BMSCs proliferation and osteogenic differentiation by regulating Bax,Cleaved-caspase3,and Bcl-2.展开更多
BACKGROUND The neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)has been reported as a novel predictor for atherosclerosis and car-diovascular outcomes.This study aimed to determine the effects of NLR on long-term clinical outcomes...BACKGROUND The neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)has been reported as a novel predictor for atherosclerosis and car-diovascular outcomes.This study aimed to determine the effects of NLR on long-term clinical outcomes of chronic total occlusion(CTO)patients.METHODS A total of 670 patients with CTO who met the inclusion criteria were included at the end of the follow-up period.Patients were divided into tertiles according to their baseline NLR levels at admission:low(n=223),intermediate(n=223),and high(n=224).The incidence of major adverse cardiac events(MACEs)during the follow-up period,including all-cause death,nonfatal myocardial infarction(MI),or ischemia-driven revascularization,were compared among the three groups.RESULTS Major adverse cardiac events were observed in 27 patients(12.1%)in the low tertile,40(17.9%)in the intermediate tertile,and 61(27.2%)in the high NLR tertile(P<0.001).Kaplan-Meier analysis demonstrated a significantly higher incidence of MACE,ischemia-driven coronary revascularization,non-fatal MI,and mortality in patients within the high tertile than those in the low and intermediate groups(all P<0.001).Multivariable COX regression analysis showed that the high tertile of baseline NLR level showed a strong association with the risk of MACE(hazard ratio[HR]=2.21;95%confidence interval[CI]:1.21-4.03;P=0.009),ischemia-driven coronary revascularization(HR=3.19;95%CI:1.56-6.52;P=0.001),MI(HR=2.61;95%CI:1.35-5.03;P=0.043)and mortality(HR=3.78;95%CI:1.65-8.77;P=0.001).CONCLUSION Our findings suggest that NLR is an inexpensive and readily available biomarker that can independently pre-dict cardiovascular risk in patients with CTO.展开更多

BACKGROUND:Emergency patients with sepsis or septic shock are at high risk of death.Despite increasing attention to microhemodynamics,the clinical use of advanced microcirculatory assessment is limited due to its shor...BACKGROUND:Emergency patients with sepsis or septic shock are at high risk of death.Despite increasing attention to microhemodynamics,the clinical use of advanced microcirculatory assessment is limited due to its shortcomings.Since blood gas analysis is a widely used technique reflecting global oxygen supply and consumption,it may serve as a surrogate for microcirculation monitoring in septic treatment.METHODS:We performed a search using PubMed,Web of Science,and Google scholar.The studies and reviews that were most relevant to septic microcirculatory dysfunctions and blood gas parameters were identified and included.RESULTS:Based on the pathophysiology of oxygen metabolism,the included articles provided a general overview of employing blood gas analysis and its derived set of indicators for microhemodynamic monitoring in septic care.Notwithstanding flaws,several parameters are linked to changes in the microcirculation.A comprehensive interpretation of blood gas parameters can be used in order to achieve hemodynamic optimization in septic patients.CONCLUSION:Blood gas analysis in combination with clinical performance is a reliable alternative for microcirculatory assessments.A deep understanding of oxygen metabolism in septic settings may help emergency physicians to better use blood gas analysis in the evaluation and treatment of sepsis and septic shock.展开更多
Background:Septic shock has a high incidence and mortality rate in Intensive Care Units(ICUs).Earlier intravenous fluid resuscitation can significantly improve outcomes in septic patients but easily leads to fluid ove...Background:Septic shock has a high incidence and mortality rate in Intensive Care Units(ICUs).Earlier intravenous fluid resuscitation can significantly improve outcomes in septic patients but easily leads to fluid overload(FO),which is associated with poor clinical outcomes.A single point value of fluid cannot provide enough fluid information.The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of fluid balance(FB)latent trajectories on clinical outcomes in septic patients.Methods:Patients were diagnosed with septic shock during the first 48 h,and sequential fluid data for the first 3 days of ICU admission were included.A group-based trajectory model(GBTM)which is designed to identify groups of individuals following similar developmental trajectories was used to identify latent subgroups of individuals following a similar progression of FB.The primary outcomes were hospital mortality,organ dysfunction,major adverse kidney events(MAKE)and severe respiratory adverse events(SRAE).We used multivariable Cox or logistic regression analysis to assess the association between FB trajectories and clinical outcomes.Results:Nine hundred eighty-six patients met the inclusion criteria and were assigned to GBTM analysis,and three latent FB trajectories were detected.64(6.5%),841(85.3%),and 81(8.2%)patients were identified to have decreased,low,and high FB,respectively.Compared with low FB,high FB was associated with increased hospital mortality[hazard ratio(HR)=1.63,95%CI 1.22–2.17],organ dysfunction[odds ratio(OR)=2.18,95%CI 1.22–3.42],MAKE(OR=1.80,95%CI 1.04–2.63)and SRAE(OR=2.33,95%CI 1.46–3.71),and decreasing FB was significantly associated with decreased MAKE(OR=0.46,95%CI 0.29–0.79)after adjustment for potential covariates.Conclusion:Latent subgroups of septic patients followed a similar FB progression.These latent fluid trajectories were associated with clinical outcomes.The decreasing FB trajectory was associated with a decreased risk of hospital mortality and MAKE.展开更多

However, the precise protective mechanisms remain unclear. In the present study, low-acid water-soluble extract of ginkgo biloba EGb761 was used to treat rats with SCI. Xanthin oxidase, thiobarbituric acid, terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP-digoxigenin nick end labeling assay, and immunohistochemistry were utilized to detect lipid peroxidation, neural cell apoptosis, and inducible nitric oxide synthase activity in rats with SCI. Results revealed significantly increased superoxide dismutase activity, decreased malondialdehyde content, apoptotic index, and inducible nitric oxide synthase expression in SCI rats following EGb761 treatment. Therefore, EGb761 suppressed lipid peroxidation following SCI, relieved neural cell apoptosis, inhibited inducible nitric oxide synthase expression, and ultimately exerted protective effects on SCI.展开更多

Here, we introduced a nano-ZnMgO(magnesium doped ZnO, abbreviated as ZnMgO) as interfacial layer between [6, 6]-Phenyl C_(61) butyric acid methyl ester(PC_(61) BM) layer and Al electrode to replace LiF or ZnO interlayer and enhance device performance. The device efficiency has been improved from 11.43% to 15.61% and the hysteresis was decreased dramatically. Such huge enhancement of power convert efficiency(PCE) can be attributed to the low dark current density, enhancement of electron-selective contact, and low energy barrier at the PC_(61) BM/Al interface. We suggest that this simple nano-scale interlayer can provide an efficient charge transport and extraction for highly efficient PSCs.展开更多
BACKGROUND Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH)is primarily caused by a ruptured intracranial aneurysm.Perimesencephalic nonaneurysmal SAH(PNSAH)accounts for approximately 5%of all spontaneous SAH.PNSAH displays f...BACKGROUND Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH)is primarily caused by a ruptured intracranial aneurysm.Perimesencephalic nonaneurysmal SAH(PNSAH)accounts for approximately 5%of all spontaneous SAH.PNSAH displays favorable prognosis.The risk of hemorrhage recurrence is low.We report a case of PNSAH recurrence,occurring within a short time after the initial episode in a patient not receiving antithrombotic or antiplatelet drugs.CASE SUMMARY A 66-year-old male,without any history of recent trauma or antithrombotic/antiplatelet medication,suffered two similar episodes of sudden onset of severe headache,nausea,and vomiting.A plain head computed tomography(CT)scan showed subarachnoid blood confined to the anterior part of the brainstem.Platelet count and coagulation function were normal.PNSAH was diagnosed by repeated head CT,magnetic resonance imaging,and cerebral angiography,none of which revealed the source of SAH.The patient was discharged without focal neurological deficits.At 6-mo follow-up,the patient had experienced no sudden onset of severe headache and presented favorable clinical outcome.Studies have reported a few patients with recurrent PNSAH,originating frequently from venous hemorrhage and conventionally associated with venous abnormalities.PNSAH recurs within a short time following the initial onset of symptoms,although the possibility of re-hemorrhage is extremely rare.CONCLUSION PNSAH recurrence should arouse vigilance;however,the definite source of idiopathic SAH in this case report deserves further attention.展开更多
Printing quality evaluation is an important means to check whether prints are qualfied.However,the urrent printing quality evaluation system for gravure decorative paper is not perfect.In order to solve this problem,a...Printing quality evaluation is an important means to check whether prints are qualfied.However,the urrent printing quality evaluation system for gravure decorative paper is not perfect.In order to solve this problem,a method for evaluating quality of decorative paper based on analytical hierarchy process(AHP)and the entropy weight method(EWM)model is proposed in this paper.So as to verify the proposed model,decorative paper of different grades was selected as the experimental objects.Firstly,the data about five indices eflecting printing quality were measured.Secondly,the evaluation model was used to assign weights to the indices,and scores in each index were calculated according to scoring tables.Finally,the evalua tion scores were statistically analyzed.The results of data analysis showed that the 95% confidence intervals and coefficients of variation were small.The average error of the evaluation system was 0.2061.It indicates that the model can stably distinguish decorative paper of diferent grades,accuracy of which is high.The research in this paper can provide reference to the quality improvement of decorative paper and the printing quality evaluation of other paper.展开更多
The improvement of grain quality in aromatic rice is very important for farmer to increase their income.Present study was conducted with a two-year field experiment and three aromatic rice cultivars in order to study ...The improvement of grain quality in aromatic rice is very important for farmer to increase their income.Present study was conducted with a two-year field experiment and three aromatic rice cultivars in order to study the effects of exogenousα-ketoglutaric acid on yield formation,grain quality characters and the biosynthesis of 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline(2-AP,key component of aromatic rice’s fragrance)in aromatic rice.At heading stage,0.50 mmol L^(-1)(T1)and 1.00 mmol L^(-1)(T2)α-ketoglutaric acid solutions were overhead sprinkle to aromatic rice plants,respectively while the treatment which was overhead sprinkled with distilled water was set as control(CK).The results showed that 17.34%-33.04%and 21.39%-34.74%higher grain 2-AP contents were recorded in T1 and T2 treatments,respectively.Compared with CK,T1 and T2 treatments significantly reduced the transcript level of gene BADH2 which is related to the 2-AP biosynthesis in aromatic rice.3.86%-7.51%higher grain protein contents and 1.15%-3.37%higher head rice rates were also recorded inα-ketoglutaric acid treatments than CK.Moreover,T1 and T2 treatments remarkably decreased the chalky rice rate,chalkiness and grain amylose content.However,there was no remarkable difference in grain yield and related trails(effective panicle number,grain number per panicle,seed-setting rate and 1000-grain weight)among CK,T1 and T2 treatments.In conclusion,application of exogenousα-ketoglutaric acid enhanced 2-AP biosynthesis and improved grain quality of aromatic rice.展开更多

PAHs with for rings and more than 4 rings are the main and important pollutants in topsoils of Xiaodian District. The main input of PAHs is combustion source, and the main pollution source in this area is fired coal. The topsoils in Xiaodian District are polluted by human activity in varying degrees. 23 of all 31 topsoil samples have been heavily polluted, especially those located nearby developed industrial townships and irrigation channels.展开更多

The optimization of continuous casting production planning(CCPP)in the steel industry was studied.The essence of CCPP is the productive capability balance of back-end facilities over the planning time period.The facil...The optimization of continuous casting production planning(CCPP)in the steel industry was studied.The essence of CCPP is the productive capability balance of back-end facilities over the planning time period.The facilities with the demands of productive capability are called the flows.On the basis of charge plans,the task of CCPP is to produce cast plans according to the rules of cast design in order to meet the flows.Firstly,a multi-objective model was established with considering the demands of flows,the capability requirements of liquid steel refini ng devices,and the rules of cast design.Secondly,the model was decomposed into a master problem(set partitioning problem model)and a series of subproblem(pricing problem model)by using Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition strategy.Finally,a column generation-based optimization algorithm(CGBOA)was presented.The experimental results on practical production data from Baosteel demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is effective and feasible.Moreover,a new decision support system based on CGBOA has been successfully established and applied to No.2 Steelmaking Plant at Baosteel.展开更多
To the Editor:A previously healthy 33-year-old Chinese man initially presented to local hospital with fever,upper abdominal pain,vomiting,and diarrhea over a period of 5 days.Laboratory findings of local medical cente...To the Editor:A previously healthy 33-year-old Chinese man initially presented to local hospital with fever,upper abdominal pain,vomiting,and diarrhea over a period of 5 days.Laboratory findings of local medical center revealed liver and kidney function impairments.The patient was treated for suspected bacterial infection and anuria.On illness day 8,the patient became confused and disoriented.He was transferred to our emergency room.Initial investigations showed severe elevations of transaminases and moderate coagulopathy[Table 1].Viral serologies for hepatitis A,B,C,and E were negative.Chest X-ray was normal.Computed tomography of brain and abdomen showed hepatomegaly and a small amount of ascites.On illness day 10,he developed status epilepticus and was intubated for airway protection.The relatives denied history of alcohol abuse,illicit drug use,and orolabial lesions.The patient was admitted to intensive care unit for further management on illness day 10.展开更多

The tomato thylakoid-bound ascorbate peroxidase gene (StAPX) was introduced into tobacco. RNA gel blot analysis confirmed that StAPX in tomato leaves was induced by methylviologen-mediated oxidative stress. The sense transgenic seedlings exhibited higher tAPX activity than that of the wild type (WT) plants under oxidative stress conditions, while the antisense seedlings exhibited lower tAPX activity. Lower APX activities of antisense transgenic seedlings caused higher malondialdehyde contents and relative electrical conductivity. The sense transgenic seedlings with higher tAPX activity maintained higher chlorophyll content and showed the importance of tAPX in maintaining the optimal chloroplast development under methylviologen stress conditions, whereas the antisense lines maintained lower chlorophyll content than WT seedlings. Results indicated that the over-expression of StAPX enhanced tolerance to methylviologen-mediated oxidative stress in sense transgenic to- bacco early seedlings, whereas the suppression of StAPX in antisense transgenic seedlings showed high sensitivity to oxidative stress.展开更多

文摘Objective:To investigate the effect of You-Gui Yin on glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and its possible mechanism.Methods:20 SD rats were divided into normal saline group and You-Gui Yin group.Ten rats in each group were given normal saline and You-Gui Yin by gavage for 2 weeks,once daily.After the gavage,the rats were sacrificed by spinal removal,blood was taken from the abdominal aorta and centrifuged to obtain blank serum and medicated serum.The rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were extracted and cultured and administered in groups:blank group(10%blank serum),Model group(10%blank serum+dexamethasone 5×10-5mol/ml),traditional Chinese medicine group(10%medicated serum+dexamethasone 5×10-5mol/ml),control group(10%medicated serum),CCK-8 method was used to detect cell proliferation changes in different groups,ELISA method was used to detect bone alkaline phosphatase levels in each group,Alizarin red staining was used to compare red-stained calcium mineralized nodules in each group,Western Blot Detect the expression of apoptosis-related proteins in BMSCs,and perform molecular docking of the quantitative components to evaluate the binding strength and activity of the target and the active compound.Results:The ratio of absorbance(A450)in each time period of the model group was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the ratio of absorbance(A450)between the traditional Chinese medicine group and the control group was significantly higher than that of the model group(P<0.05).There was no difference between the control group and the blank group(P>0.05);ELISA method showed that the ALP level of the model group was significantly lower than that of the blank group and the control group(P<0.05),the traditional Chinese medicine group significantly increased the ALP level(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the control group and the blank group;Observation of the number of calcium mineralized nodules under alizarin red staining microscope suggests that the number of calcium mineralized nodules in the model group is significantly lower than that of each group,and there is no significant difference between the control group and the blank group.Both groups are higher than the model group and traditional Chinese medicine Group;Western Blot indicated that compared with the blank group,the expression levels of proapoptotic proteins Bax and Cleaved-casepase-3 in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.01),and the expression levels of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 were decreased(P<0.01),on the contrary in the traditional Chinese medicine group,the expression of the control group did not change significantly compared with the blank group;the molecular docking results showed that You-Gui Yin mainly regulates the apoptosis of BMSCs through Epicatechin 5,7,3'-trimethyl ether,Delphinin,etc.promote bone formation.Conclusion:You-Gui Yin medicated serum can protect BMSCs from apoptosis induced by GCs and promote BMSCs proliferation and osteogenic differentiation by regulating Bax,Cleaved-caspase3,and Bcl-2.

文摘BACKGROUND The neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)has been reported as a novel predictor for atherosclerosis and car-diovascular outcomes.This study aimed to determine the effects of NLR on long-term clinical outcomes of chronic total occlusion(CTO)patients.METHODS A total of 670 patients with CTO who met the inclusion criteria were included at the end of the follow-up period.Patients were divided into tertiles according to their baseline NLR levels at admission:low(n=223),intermediate(n=223),and high(n=224).The incidence of major adverse cardiac events(MACEs)during the follow-up period,including all-cause death,nonfatal myocardial infarction(MI),or ischemia-driven revascularization,were compared among the three groups.RESULTS Major adverse cardiac events were observed in 27 patients(12.1%)in the low tertile,40(17.9%)in the intermediate tertile,and 61(27.2%)in the high NLR tertile(P<0.001).Kaplan-Meier analysis demonstrated a significantly higher incidence of MACE,ischemia-driven coronary revascularization,non-fatal MI,and mortality in patients within the high tertile than those in the low and intermediate groups(all P<0.001).Multivariable COX regression analysis showed that the high tertile of baseline NLR level showed a strong association with the risk of MACE(hazard ratio[HR]=2.21;95%confidence interval[CI]:1.21-4.03;P=0.009),ischemia-driven coronary revascularization(HR=3.19;95%CI:1.56-6.52;P=0.001),MI(HR=2.61;95%CI:1.35-5.03;P=0.043)and mortality(HR=3.78;95%CI:1.65-8.77;P=0.001).CONCLUSION Our findings suggest that NLR is an inexpensive and readily available biomarker that can independently pre-dict cardiovascular risk in patients with CTO.

文摘Satellite observation schedule is investigated in this paper.A mission planning algorithm of task clustering is proposed to improve the observation efficiency of agile satellite.The newly developed method can make the satellite observe more targets and therefore save observation resources.First,for the densely distributed target points,a preprocessing scheme based on task clustering is proposed.The target points are clustered according to the distance condition.Second,the local observation path is generated by Tabu algorithm in the inner layer of cluster regions.Third,considering the scatter and cluster sets,the global observation path is obtained by adopting Tabu algorithm in the outer layer.Simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively reduce the task planning time of large-scale point targets while ensuring the optimal solution quality.

文摘BACKGROUND:Emergency patients with sepsis or septic shock are at high risk of death.Despite increasing attention to microhemodynamics,the clinical use of advanced microcirculatory assessment is limited due to its shortcomings.Since blood gas analysis is a widely used technique reflecting global oxygen supply and consumption,it may serve as a surrogate for microcirculation monitoring in septic treatment.METHODS:We performed a search using PubMed,Web of Science,and Google scholar.The studies and reviews that were most relevant to septic microcirculatory dysfunctions and blood gas parameters were identified and included.RESULTS:Based on the pathophysiology of oxygen metabolism,the included articles provided a general overview of employing blood gas analysis and its derived set of indicators for microhemodynamic monitoring in septic care.Notwithstanding flaws,several parameters are linked to changes in the microcirculation.A comprehensive interpretation of blood gas parameters can be used in order to achieve hemodynamic optimization in septic patients.CONCLUSION:Blood gas analysis in combination with clinical performance is a reliable alternative for microcirculatory assessments.A deep understanding of oxygen metabolism in septic settings may help emergency physicians to better use blood gas analysis in the evaluation and treatment of sepsis and septic shock.

文摘Background:Septic shock has a high incidence and mortality rate in Intensive Care Units(ICUs).Earlier intravenous fluid resuscitation can significantly improve outcomes in septic patients but easily leads to fluid overload(FO),which is associated with poor clinical outcomes.A single point value of fluid cannot provide enough fluid information.The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of fluid balance(FB)latent trajectories on clinical outcomes in septic patients.Methods:Patients were diagnosed with septic shock during the first 48 h,and sequential fluid data for the first 3 days of ICU admission were included.A group-based trajectory model(GBTM)which is designed to identify groups of individuals following similar developmental trajectories was used to identify latent subgroups of individuals following a similar progression of FB.The primary outcomes were hospital mortality,organ dysfunction,major adverse kidney events(MAKE)and severe respiratory adverse events(SRAE).We used multivariable Cox or logistic regression analysis to assess the association between FB trajectories and clinical outcomes.Results:Nine hundred eighty-six patients met the inclusion criteria and were assigned to GBTM analysis,and three latent FB trajectories were detected.64(6.5%),841(85.3%),and 81(8.2%)patients were identified to have decreased,low,and high FB,respectively.Compared with low FB,high FB was associated with increased hospital mortality[hazard ratio(HR)=1.63,95%CI 1.22–2.17],organ dysfunction[odds ratio(OR)=2.18,95%CI 1.22–3.42],MAKE(OR=1.80,95%CI 1.04–2.63)and SRAE(OR=2.33,95%CI 1.46–3.71),and decreasing FB was significantly associated with decreased MAKE(OR=0.46,95%CI 0.29–0.79)after adjustment for potential covariates.Conclusion:Latent subgroups of septic patients followed a similar FB progression.These latent fluid trajectories were associated with clinical outcomes.The decreasing FB trajectory was associated with a decreased risk of hospital mortality and MAKE.

文摘The neuroprotective effects of ginkgo biloba extract have been shown in rats following spinal cord injury (SCI). However, the precise protective mechanisms remain unclear. In the present study, low-acid water-soluble extract of ginkgo biloba EGb761 was used to treat rats with SCI. Xanthin oxidase, thiobarbituric acid, terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP-digoxigenin nick end labeling assay, and immunohistochemistry were utilized to detect lipid peroxidation, neural cell apoptosis, and inducible nitric oxide synthase activity in rats with SCI. Results revealed significantly increased superoxide dismutase activity, decreased malondialdehyde content, apoptotic index, and inducible nitric oxide synthase expression in SCI rats following EGb761 treatment. Therefore, EGb761 suppressed lipid peroxidation following SCI, relieved neural cell apoptosis, inhibited inducible nitric oxide synthase expression, and ultimately exerted protective effects on SCI.

文摘Interfacial layer has a significant impact on the achievement of highly efficient organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells(PSCs). Here, we introduced a nano-ZnMgO(magnesium doped ZnO, abbreviated as ZnMgO) as interfacial layer between [6, 6]-Phenyl C_(61) butyric acid methyl ester(PC_(61) BM) layer and Al electrode to replace LiF or ZnO interlayer and enhance device performance. The device efficiency has been improved from 11.43% to 15.61% and the hysteresis was decreased dramatically. Such huge enhancement of power convert efficiency(PCE) can be attributed to the low dark current density, enhancement of electron-selective contact, and low energy barrier at the PC_(61) BM/Al interface. We suggest that this simple nano-scale interlayer can provide an efficient charge transport and extraction for highly efficient PSCs.
文摘BACKGROUND Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH)is primarily caused by a ruptured intracranial aneurysm.Perimesencephalic nonaneurysmal SAH(PNSAH)accounts for approximately 5%of all spontaneous SAH.PNSAH displays favorable prognosis.The risk of hemorrhage recurrence is low.We report a case of PNSAH recurrence,occurring within a short time after the initial episode in a patient not receiving antithrombotic or antiplatelet drugs.CASE SUMMARY A 66-year-old male,without any history of recent trauma or antithrombotic/antiplatelet medication,suffered two similar episodes of sudden onset of severe headache,nausea,and vomiting.A plain head computed tomography(CT)scan showed subarachnoid blood confined to the anterior part of the brainstem.Platelet count and coagulation function were normal.PNSAH was diagnosed by repeated head CT,magnetic resonance imaging,and cerebral angiography,none of which revealed the source of SAH.The patient was discharged without focal neurological deficits.At 6-mo follow-up,the patient had experienced no sudden onset of severe headache and presented favorable clinical outcome.Studies have reported a few patients with recurrent PNSAH,originating frequently from venous hemorrhage and conventionally associated with venous abnormalities.PNSAH recurs within a short time following the initial onset of symptoms,although the possibility of re-hemorrhage is extremely rare.CONCLUSION PNSAH recurrence should arouse vigilance;however,the definite source of idiopathic SAH in this case report deserves further attention.

文摘Printing quality evaluation is an important means to check whether prints are qualfied.However,the urrent printing quality evaluation system for gravure decorative paper is not perfect.In order to solve this problem,a method for evaluating quality of decorative paper based on analytical hierarchy process(AHP)and the entropy weight method(EWM)model is proposed in this paper.So as to verify the proposed model,decorative paper of different grades was selected as the experimental objects.Firstly,the data about five indices eflecting printing quality were measured.Secondly,the evaluation model was used to assign weights to the indices,and scores in each index were calculated according to scoring tables.Finally,the evalua tion scores were statistically analyzed.The results of data analysis showed that the 95% confidence intervals and coefficients of variation were small.The average error of the evaluation system was 0.2061.It indicates that the model can stably distinguish decorative paper of diferent grades,accuracy of which is high.The research in this paper can provide reference to the quality improvement of decorative paper and the printing quality evaluation of other paper.

文摘The improvement of grain quality in aromatic rice is very important for farmer to increase their income.Present study was conducted with a two-year field experiment and three aromatic rice cultivars in order to study the effects of exogenousα-ketoglutaric acid on yield formation,grain quality characters and the biosynthesis of 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline(2-AP,key component of aromatic rice’s fragrance)in aromatic rice.At heading stage,0.50 mmol L^(-1)(T1)and 1.00 mmol L^(-1)(T2)α-ketoglutaric acid solutions were overhead sprinkle to aromatic rice plants,respectively while the treatment which was overhead sprinkled with distilled water was set as control(CK).The results showed that 17.34%-33.04%and 21.39%-34.74%higher grain 2-AP contents were recorded in T1 and T2 treatments,respectively.Compared with CK,T1 and T2 treatments significantly reduced the transcript level of gene BADH2 which is related to the 2-AP biosynthesis in aromatic rice.3.86%-7.51%higher grain protein contents and 1.15%-3.37%higher head rice rates were also recorded inα-ketoglutaric acid treatments than CK.Moreover,T1 and T2 treatments remarkably decreased the chalky rice rate,chalkiness and grain amylose content.However,there was no remarkable difference in grain yield and related trails(effective panicle number,grain number per panicle,seed-setting rate and 1000-grain weight)among CK,T1 and T2 treatments.In conclusion,application of exogenousα-ketoglutaric acid enhanced 2-AP biosynthesis and improved grain quality of aromatic rice.
文摘Millimeter wave technology is one of the technologies developed rapidly in recent years. The research was mainly to study the transmission of millimeter wave through textile material named silk fabric. We observed the phenomenon of sub-millimeter-wave transmission and reflection of the silk fabric, and concluded that with the number of silk fabric layers increasing, effect of scattering and absorption of the millimeter wave enhanced. The conclusion could be further employed in millimeter wave and THz imaging, dangerous goods inspection and other security application.
文摘This research aims to investigate the pollution characteristic of PAHs in Xiaodian sewage irrigation area. The result shows that the concentrations ofPAHs range from 47.94 to 46432.85ng/g while that of the total components of the 16 kinds of PAHs are 5969.81ng/g. PAHs with for rings and more than 4 rings are the main and important pollutants in topsoils of Xiaodian District. The main input of PAHs is combustion source, and the main pollution source in this area is fired coal. The topsoils in Xiaodian District are polluted by human activity in varying degrees. 23 of all 31 topsoil samples have been heavily polluted, especially those located nearby developed industrial townships and irrigation channels.

文摘Nowadays,metal oxide-based electromagnetic wave absorbing materials have aroused widely attentions in the application of telecommunication and electronics due to their selectable mechanical and outstanding dielectric properties.Herein,the binary ZnO/NiCo_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles were successfully synthesized via hydrothermal reaction and the electromagnetic wave absorption properties of the composites were investigated in detail.As a result,benefiting from the dielectric loss,the as-obtained ZnO/NiCo_(2)O_(4)-7 samples possessed a minimum reflection loss value of-33.49 dB at 18.0 GHz with the thickness of 4.99 mm.This work indicates that ZnO/NiCo_(2)O_(4) composites have the promising candidate applications in electromagnetic wave absorption materials in the future.
文摘The optimization of continuous casting production planning(CCPP)in the steel industry was studied.The essence of CCPP is the productive capability balance of back-end facilities over the planning time period.The facilities with the demands of productive capability are called the flows.On the basis of charge plans,the task of CCPP is to produce cast plans according to the rules of cast design in order to meet the flows.Firstly,a multi-objective model was established with considering the demands of flows,the capability requirements of liquid steel refini ng devices,and the rules of cast design.Secondly,the model was decomposed into a master problem(set partitioning problem model)and a series of subproblem(pricing problem model)by using Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition strategy.Finally,a column generation-based optimization algorithm(CGBOA)was presented.The experimental results on practical production data from Baosteel demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is effective and feasible.Moreover,a new decision support system based on CGBOA has been successfully established and applied to No.2 Steelmaking Plant at Baosteel.
文摘To the Editor:A previously healthy 33-year-old Chinese man initially presented to local hospital with fever,upper abdominal pain,vomiting,and diarrhea over a period of 5 days.Laboratory findings of local medical center revealed liver and kidney function impairments.The patient was treated for suspected bacterial infection and anuria.On illness day 8,the patient became confused and disoriented.He was transferred to our emergency room.Initial investigations showed severe elevations of transaminases and moderate coagulopathy[Table 1].Viral serologies for hepatitis A,B,C,and E were negative.Chest X-ray was normal.Computed tomography of brain and abdomen showed hepatomegaly and a small amount of ascites.On illness day 10,he developed status epilepticus and was intubated for airway protection.The relatives denied history of alcohol abuse,illicit drug use,and orolabial lesions.The patient was admitted to intensive care unit for further management on illness day 10.

文摘Ascorbate peroxidases are directly involved in reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging by reducing hydrogen peroxide to water. The tomato thylakoid-bound ascorbate peroxidase gene (StAPX) was introduced into tobacco. RNA gel blot analysis confirmed that StAPX in tomato leaves was induced by methylviologen-mediated oxidative stress. The sense transgenic seedlings exhibited higher tAPX activity than that of the wild type (WT) plants under oxidative stress conditions, while the antisense seedlings exhibited lower tAPX activity. Lower APX activities of antisense transgenic seedlings caused higher malondialdehyde contents and relative electrical conductivity. The sense transgenic seedlings with higher tAPX activity maintained higher chlorophyll content and showed the importance of tAPX in maintaining the optimal chloroplast development under methylviologen stress conditions, whereas the antisense lines maintained lower chlorophyll content than WT seedlings. Results indicated that the over-expression of StAPX enhanced tolerance to methylviologen-mediated oxidative stress in sense transgenic to- bacco early seedlings, whereas the suppression of StAPX in antisense transgenic seedlings showed high sensitivity to oxidative stress.
