To date the deposit is estimated to have produced more than 200 tonnes of gold at an average grade of 3.57 g/t Au extending over 41 years of production. Cambrian rock is predominantly composed of limestone and dolomite. The limestone contains a smallamount (1%-3%) of clastic material. The limestone is thin-bedded, platy, fractured, brecciated,cavernous, and porous. Its composition varies from pure limestone to spotted-banded dolomitic limestoneor "zebra" rock.
