Through the specific acupoints located on the meridians, with the acupuncture treatment the Qi and blood flow can be regulated and the whole body energy balanced. Acupuncture increases the blood flow to the ovaries and uterus, improving the implantation condition, the ovarian and follicular function and balancing the hormones. In this research, it is presented a case of 32-year-old woman who has already had an unsuccessful in vitro cycle, 6 months before starting acupuncture treatments. The patient has done 8 acupuncture treatments in our clinic before starting the second cycle of embryo transfer. The treatments were done twice monthly in a period of 4 months. Before starting the first embryo transfer, the FSH was at high levels: 11 mIU/mL (1.98 - 11.6). After the acupuncture treatments, it was normalized to 8.11 mIu/mL. The second embryo transfer was successful and so far the patient is in good health. Acupuncture treatment as part of the TCM, helps the female reproductive system to function properly, especially in an important periods of fertilization, keeping the pregnancy rates high.展开更多

The scapula is surrounded and supported by a complex system of muscles that work together to help in the arm movement. If some condition or injury causes these muscles to become imbalanced or weak, the position of the scapula can be altered at rest or in motion. A change in the scapular positioning or motion can make difficulties in the arm movement, especially when performing overhead activities and may cause shoulder weakness. Acupuncture treatment as part of the Traditional Chinese Medicine is most commonly used treatment for treating musculoskeletal disorders. In the treatment of scapular muscle fasciitis the fire-needle acupuncture gave the fastest and best results in our practice. The aim of the treatment is to break up the scar tissue and the adhesions which commonly form at the site, to relax the levator scapula muscle and restore local normal blood and energy flow. In the research are included 13 patients, 6 male and 7 female, on age from 24 to 70. All patients had scapular pain and on all was performed fire-needle acupuncture. Most common age groups are 50 - 60, most patients have pain on the right scapula and most of them—9 have done only one treatment. A long-term problem with the scapula muscle can be resolved with only one fire-needle acupuncture treatment.展开更多

These malignant cancer cells grow inside the colon and the rectum. Large clusters of these cells form structures known as tumors. Our treated patient is a 48 year old male who has undergone colorectal adenocarcinoma surgery in stage IIIB. During the surgery he was resected part of the colon with a total length of 57 cm. We started the treatment with Chinese herbs immediately after the surgery with no additional chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Herbs used in the treatment are Cordyceps sinensis, Ganoderma broken spores (Reishi) and Yunnan Baiyao. Before the surgery the patient was pale, exhausted, with abdominal pain on the left side under the ribs, Iron (Fe) was very low—7, tumor marker (CEA) was high—39.64 ng/mL, hematochezia was present and with insulin intake of 34 units (the patient is diabetic). Two months after using the herbs daily, the patient blood analysis was improved, Iron (Fe) is elevated, no hematochezia is detected, organs are with normal findings, normal color of the face is restored, post-operative scar healed very well and quickly and insulin intake is reduced from 34 to 6 units. After 6 months of treatment the results are amazing, the patient is in excellent health condition, the treatment is completed and is no longer taking any medications. With the herbal treatment we succeeded to keep the patient in good health, boost the immune system and improve the Qi energy flow.展开更多

The pain can arise from muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones or intervertebral discs. The pain is usually in the lower back region, gluteal region with or without radiation in the legs, with muscle tension and stiffness, limited movement or sometimes tingling and burning sensation. In the term of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), pain appears if there is no good Blood and Qi flow in the body. Pain caused by Qi stagnation usually appears due to strong emotional and mental changes and stress. In this research, we included 60 patients, 28 males and 32 females, on age from 18 to 88, all treated with acupuncture for low back pain. All patients were cured with certain number of treatments. Most of the patients needed less than 5 treatments. Treatments were made with normal and fire needle and combined. The best results were achieved with fire needle acupuncture treatment. In the treatment, we used local Ashi i.e. trigger points and meridian points: BL24 (QiHaiSu), BL25 (DaChangShu), BL26 (GuanYanShu), BL27 (XioChangShu), BL28 (PangGuangShu), GB30 (HuanTiao), BL40 (WeiZhong), BL57 (ChengShen), GB37 (GuanMing) and BL60 (KunKun). Acupuncture as a treatment for low back pain is a very effective treatment giving very satisfying and positive results in a short time of period. The percentage of cured patients (relieved of the symptoms) is 100% which is a clear indicator of the success of acupuncture in the treatment of low back pain.展开更多
