Interestingly, most PN patients never develop blisters. This condition is often resistant to treatment. We describe a female patient who was initially diagnosed with hypereosinophilic dermatitis. Later on, in the presence of eosinophilic infiltrations in the gastrointestinal tract, obstructive ventilation disorder, pericardial and pleural effusions, the diagnosis of idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome was made.
