The present scheme is simple but fairly efficient, and easily manipulated because arbitrary two-qubit can be selectively and effectively coupled by a common inductance. A scheme for implementing discrete quantum Fourier transform is proposed via quantum dots embedded in a microcavity, and then some of its applications are investigated, i.e., Deutsch 3ozsa. algorithm and Shor's quantum factoring. In particular, the detailed process of implementing one^qubit Deutsch Jozsa algorithm and the factorization of N = 15 are given. The microcavity mode is only virtually excited in the whole interaction, so the effective decoherent has slight effect on the current scheme. And the atom-cavity coupling strength is smaller than the cavity decay rate. This greatly relaxes the requirement on the cavity quality. The thermal entanglement in the spin-S Heisenberg XYZ model is studied in detail by using the entanglement measure of negativity. The effects of spin on the thermal entanglement, the threshold temperature, the critical uniform external magnetic field, the nonuniform external magnetic field and the', entanglement extremum are discussed, respectively. It is shown that with increasing spin, the entanglement will increase, and then decrease slowly. In addition, we find that entanglement will approach a constant Nc with the increase of DM interaction, the constant increases with the increase of spin, and both the threshold temperature Tc and critical uniform external magnetic field Bc will increase with the increasing spin. Thus high-spin system can inhibit the influence of the external environment better. 展开更多
