The electrochemical examination on the cor-rosion of carbon or carbon containing refractiories at molten slag-liquid interface has been carried out.The electromotive force(E.M.F)of cells with different molten slags:C|... The electrochemical examination on the cor-rosion of carbon or carbon containing refractiories at molten slag-liquid interface has been carried out.The electromotive force(E.M.F)of cells with different molten slags:C|molten slag | Fe at elevated temperatures has been measured by means of potentiometer and it is in the range from 250 to 450mV .It is found that the carbon electrode in these cells is anode and whn a counter E.M.F.is applied externally to the cel,the corrosion of carbon electrode will be sup-pressed entirely.Test results show that the local corrosion of carbon containing refractories at slag-metal interface is mainly caused by the mechanism of electrochemical corrosion. 展开更多

Effect of the content of La2O3,CeO2 and SiO2 on the sintering behavior and microstruc-ture of AZS-40 material has been studied by means of sintering test and SEM examination,The results show that the porosity of the AZS-40 clinker with addition of 0.5% La2O3 or CeO2 could reach 2% under the ondition of 1600℃ for 4 hours.But it is not beneficial to the sintering and microstructure of the clinkers when the addition of the rare earth oxides increases to more than 0.5%,AZS-40 materials become difficult to be sintered as the addition of SiO2 in the materials incereases. 展开更多

The sinteribility and hydration resistance of high pure natural dolomite doped with CeO2 addition were studied.It is found that the addition of CeO2 to dolomite can significantly improve the sintering and the resistane to hydration of dolomite.Doping 0.25% CeO2,followed by firing at 1600℃ for 4 hours,a dense doloma clinker with bulk density>3.25 g/cm^3, apparent porosity<1.0% and excellent hydration resistance has been obtained. 展开更多
