Calmodulin(CaM)proteins play a key role in signal transduction under various stresses.In the present study,the effects of a sugarcane ScCaM gene(NCBI accession number:GQ246454)on drought and salt stress tolerance in t...Calmodulin(CaM)proteins play a key role in signal transduction under various stresses.In the present study,the effects of a sugarcane ScCaM gene(NCBI accession number:GQ246454)on drought and salt stress tolerance in transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana and Escherichia coli cells were evaluated.The results demonstrated a significant negative role of ScCaM in the drought and salt stress tolerance of transgenic lines of A.thaliana,as indicated by the phenotypes.In addition,the expression of AtP5CS and AtRD29A,two genes tightly related to stress resistance,was significantly lower in the overexpression lines than in the wild type.The growth of E.coli BL21 cells expressing ScCaM showed weaker tolerance under mannitol and NaCl stress.Taken together,this study revealed that the ScCaM gene plays a negative regulatory role in both mannitol and NaCl stresses,and it possibly exerts protective mechanisms common in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes under stress conditions.展开更多

In the field of agricultural information,the identification and prediction of rice leaf disease have always been the focus of research,and deep learning(DL)technology is currently a hot research topic in the field of ...In the field of agricultural information,the identification and prediction of rice leaf disease have always been the focus of research,and deep learning(DL)technology is currently a hot research topic in the field of pattern recognition.The research and development of high-efficiency,highquality and low-cost automatic identification methods for rice diseases that can replace humans is an important means of dealing with the current situation from a technical perspective.This paper mainly focuses on the problem of huge parameters of the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)model and proposes a recognitionmodel that combines amulti-scale convolution module with a neural network model based on Visual Geometry Group(VGG).The accuracy and loss of the training set and the test set are used to evaluate the performance of the model.The test accuracy of this model is 97.1%that has increased 5.87%over VGG.Furthermore,the memory requirement is 26.1M,only 1.6%of the VGG.Experiment results show that this model performs better in terms of accuracy,recognition speed and memory size.展开更多

Addit...Doping effects of manganese (Mn) on catalytic performance and structure evolution of NiMgO catalysts for synthesis of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) from methane were investigated for the first time. Addition of Mn in NiMgO catalyst can greatly improve the MWCNTs yield. Mno.2NiMgO catalyst among the tested ones gives the highest MWCNTs yield as 2244%, which is two times higher than that of the catalyst without Mn. The structure evolution, reduction behaviors and surface chemical properties of MnNiMgO catalysts with various Mn contents were studied in detail. It was found that the stable solid solution of NiMgO2 formed in NiMgO catalyst was disturbed by the addition of Mn. Instead, another solid solution of MnMg608 is formed. More amount of Ni can be reduced and dispersed on the catalyst surface to be acted as active sites. Importantly, the changes of Ni content on the surface are correlated with the Ni particle size and the outer diameter of MWCNTs, suggesting the controllable synthesis of MWCNTs over MnNiMgO catalysts.展开更多
Adsorption desulfurization performance of Na Y,HY and Ce HY zeolites is evaluated in a miniature fixedbed flow by model gasoline containing with thiophene,tetrahydrothiophene,2-methylthiophene,benzothiophene or mixed ...Adsorption desulfurization performance of Na Y,HY and Ce HY zeolites is evaluated in a miniature fixedbed flow by model gasoline containing with thiophene,tetrahydrothiophene,2-methylthiophene,benzothiophene or mixed sulfur compounds.The structural properties of adsorbents are characterized by XRD,N2-adsorption and XPS techniques.Adsorption desulfurization mechanisms of these sulfur compounds over the specific active sites of adsorbents as a major focus of this work,have been systematically investigated by using in situ FT-IR spectroscopy with single and double probing molecules.Desulfurization experimental results show that the Ce HY adsorbent exhibits superior adsorption sulfur capacity at breakthrough point of zero sulfur for ultra-deep removal of each thiophenic sulfur compound,especially in the capture of aromatic 2-methylthiophene(about ca.28.6 mgS/gadsorbent).The results of in situ FT-IR with single probing molecule demonstrate an important finding that high oligomerization ability of thiophene or 2-methylthiophene on the CeHY can promote the breakthrough adsorption sulfur capacity,mainly resulting from the synergy between Br?nsted acid sites and Ce(III)hydroxylated species active sites located in the supercages of Ce HY.Meanwhile,the result of in situ FT-IR with double probing molecules further reveals the essence of oligomerization reactions of thiophene and 2-methylthiophene molecules on those specific active sites.By contrast,the oligomerization reaction of benzothiophene molecules on the active sites of Ce HY cannot occur due to the restriction of cavity size of supercages,but they can be adsorbed on the Br?nsted acid sites via protonation,and on Ce(III)hydroxylated species and extra-framework aluminum hydroxyls species via direct"S-M"bonding interaction.As to the tetrahydrothiophene,adsorption mechanism is similar to that of benzothiophene,except in the absence of protonation.The paper can provide a new design idea of specific adsorption active sites in excellent desulfurization adsorbents for elevating higher quality of FCC gasoline in the future.展开更多
Objective:Although our previous genome-wide association study(GWAS)has identified chromosome 2q33.1 as a susceptibility locus for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),the causal variants remain unclear.The aims of this s...Objective:Although our previous genome-wide association study(GWAS)has identified chromosome 2q33.1 as a susceptibility locus for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),the causal variants remain unclear.The aims of this study were to identify the causal variants in 2q33.1 and to explore their biological functions in NSCLC.Methods:CCK-8,colony formation,EdU incorporation,Transwell,and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction assays were applied to examine variant function.The tumor xenograft model was used to examine variant function in vivo.Caspase-8 activity assays,flow cytometry analysis,and co-immunoprecipitation assays were used to explore the molecular mechanism.Results:The missense variant rs3769823(A>G),which caused the substitution of lysine with arginine at amino acid 14 in caspase-8(caspase-8K14R),was identified as a potential causal candidate in 2q33.1.Compared with the wild type caspase-8(caspase8WT)group,the caspase-8K14R group had higher expression of caspase-8 and cleaved caspase-8.Caspase-8K14R inhibited the proliferation and metastasis of human lung cancer cell lines in vitro.Moreover,caspase-8K14R repressed lung cancer cell growth in vivo.Mechanistically,caspase-8K14R was more sensitive than caspase-8WT to tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand(TRAIL)-mediated apoptosis and showed higher binding of caspase-8 and FADD.Conclusions:These results suggested that rs3769823 is the causal variant in chromosome 2q33.1 and is involved in an apoptosis pathway,leading to a decreased risk of NSCLC.展开更多

Here, we present...Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) have been developed for over 30 years;however, existing electrode materials cannot satisfy the increasing requirements of high-energy density, stable cycling, and low cost. Here, we present a perovskite-type LaNiO3 oxide(LNO) as a new negative electrode material. LNO was successfully synthesized by a sol-gel method. The microstructure and electrochemical performance of LNO calcined at various temperatures have been systematically investigated. The LNO electrode shows a high rate capability and long cycling stability. In a C-rate test, a specific capacity of 77 mAh/g was exhibited at 6 C. LNO can also deliver a specific capacity of 92 mAh/g after 200 cycles at 1 C. This paper presents a type of binary metal oxide as a new anode material for high-performance LIBs.展开更多
With the increasing intensive and large-scale development of the sika deer breeding industry,it is crucial to assess the health status of the sika deer by monitoring their behaviours.A machine vision-based method for ...With the increasing intensive and large-scale development of the sika deer breeding industry,it is crucial to assess the health status of the sika deer by monitoring their behaviours.A machine vision-based method for the behaviour recognition of sika deer is proposed in this paper.Google Inception Net(GoogLeNet)is used to optimise the model in this paper.First,the number of layers and size of the model were reduced.Then,the 5×5 convolution was changed to two 3×3 convolutions,which reduced the parameters and increased the nonlinearity of the model.A 5×5 convolution kernel was used to replace the original convolution for extracting coarse-grained features and improving the model’s extraction ability.A multi-scale module was added to the model to enhance the multi-faceted feature extraction capability of the model.Simultaneously,the Squeeze-and-Excitation Networks(SE-Net)module was included to increase the channel’s attention and improve the model’s accuracy.The dataset’s images were rotated to reduce overfitting.For image rotation,the angle wasmultiplied by 30°to obtain the dataset enhanced by rotation operations of 30°,60°,90°,120°and 150°.The experimental results showed that the recognition rate of this model in the behaviour of sika deer was 98.92%.Therefore,the model presented in this paper can be applied to the behaviour recognition of sika deer.The results will play an essential role in promoting animal behaviour recognition technology and animal health monitoring management.展开更多

Methods: The clinicians’ prescriptions regarding to the combination of with TCM or modern medications were from hospital information system electronic medical data integration warehouse established by the Institute of Basic Medical Research of Chinese Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, which integrated the hospital information system data of 22 hospitals. The association rules of the drug characteristics were analyzed through Apriori algorithm. Results: A total of 839 patients with CC were included. We found that is often combined with prescriptions which could clear heat, remove toxicity, supplement Qi. also combined with chemotherapeutic drugs, immunomodulatory drugs, 5-HT receptor blockers, and glucocorticoids. The combination presents a specific law. Conclusion: Fufang Kushen injection combined with hepatoprotective drugs, immunomodulators and glucocorticoids is often used to treat cervical cancer.展开更多
Cores and filamentary structures are the prime birthplaces of stars,and play key roles in the process of star formation.Latest advances in the methods of multi-scale source and filament extraction,and in making highre...Cores and filamentary structures are the prime birthplaces of stars,and play key roles in the process of star formation.Latest advances in the methods of multi-scale source and filament extraction,and in making highresolution column density map from Herschel multi-wavelength observations enable us to detect the filamentary network structures in highly complex molecular cloud environments.The statistics for physical parameters shows that core mass strongly correlates with core dust temperature,and M/L strongly correlates with M/T,which is in line with the prediction of the blackbody radiation,and can be used to trace evolutionary sequence from unbound starless cores to robust prestellar cores.Crest column densities of the filamentary structures are clearly related with mass per unit length(M_(line)),but are uncorrelated by three orders ranging from~10^(20) to~10^(22) cm^(-2) with widths.Full width at half maximum has a median value of 0.15 pc,which is consistent with the 0.1 pc typical inner width of the filamentary structures reported by previous research.We find 70%of robust prestellar cores(135/199)embedded in supercritical filaments with M_(line),>16 M⊙pc^(-1),which implies that the gravitationally bound cores come from fragmentation of supercritical filaments.On the basis of observational evidence that the probability distribution function with power-law distribution in the Perseus south is flatter than in the north,the number of young stellar objects in the south is significantly less than that in the north,and dust temperature is different.We infer that the south region is more gravitationally bound than the north region.展开更多

Implantable system maximizes drug concentration and continuously releases drugs near the tumor,which is an effective tool to solve the difficult retention of chemotherapy drugs in bladder cancer.In this work,a novel p...Implantable system maximizes drug concentration and continuously releases drugs near the tumor,which is an effective tool to solve the difficult retention of chemotherapy drugs in bladder cancer.In this work,a novel polysaccharide supramolecular injectable hydrogel(CCA hydrogels for short)is rapidly constructed by simply mixing cationic chitosan,anionic sulfobutyl etherβ-cyclodextrin(SBE-β-CD)and a trace amount of silver ions.The injected hydrogel reconstituted and regained its shape in less than 1 h,and it can still maintain the elasticity suitable for the human body.By packaging the drug directly,the gel achieves a high concentration of doxorubicin,an anticancer drug.Using MB49-luc cells as the model of bladder tumor for anti-tumor in vivo,the CCA-DOX gel has obvious inhibitory effect on bladder tumor,and its inhibitory effect is much greater than that of free DOX.Therefore,this self-healing injectable hydrogel has great potential for in situ treatment of bladder cancer.展开更多

文摘Adsorption desulfurization performance of Na Y,HY and Ce HY zeolites is evaluated in a miniature fixedbed flow by model gasoline containing with thiophene,tetrahydrothiophene,2-methylthiophene,benzothiophene or mixed sulfur compounds.The structural properties of adsorbents are characterized by XRD,N2-adsorption and XPS techniques.Adsorption desulfurization mechanisms of these sulfur compounds over the specific active sites of adsorbents as a major focus of this work,have been systematically investigated by using in situ FT-IR spectroscopy with single and double probing molecules.Desulfurization experimental results show that the Ce HY adsorbent exhibits superior adsorption sulfur capacity at breakthrough point of zero sulfur for ultra-deep removal of each thiophenic sulfur compound,especially in the capture of aromatic 2-methylthiophene(about ca.28.6 mgS/gadsorbent).The results of in situ FT-IR with single probing molecule demonstrate an important finding that high oligomerization ability of thiophene or 2-methylthiophene on the CeHY can promote the breakthrough adsorption sulfur capacity,mainly resulting from the synergy between Br?nsted acid sites and Ce(III)hydroxylated species active sites located in the supercages of Ce HY.Meanwhile,the result of in situ FT-IR with double probing molecules further reveals the essence of oligomerization reactions of thiophene and 2-methylthiophene molecules on those specific active sites.By contrast,the oligomerization reaction of benzothiophene molecules on the active sites of Ce HY cannot occur due to the restriction of cavity size of supercages,but they can be adsorbed on the Br?nsted acid sites via protonation,and on Ce(III)hydroxylated species and extra-framework aluminum hydroxyls species via direct"S-M"bonding interaction.As to the tetrahydrothiophene,adsorption mechanism is similar to that of benzothiophene,except in the absence of protonation.The paper can provide a new design idea of specific adsorption active sites in excellent desulfurization adsorbents for elevating higher quality of FCC gasoline in the future.

文摘Objective:Although our previous genome-wide association study(GWAS)has identified chromosome 2q33.1 as a susceptibility locus for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),the causal variants remain unclear.The aims of this study were to identify the causal variants in 2q33.1 and to explore their biological functions in NSCLC.Methods:CCK-8,colony formation,EdU incorporation,Transwell,and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction assays were applied to examine variant function.The tumor xenograft model was used to examine variant function in vivo.Caspase-8 activity assays,flow cytometry analysis,and co-immunoprecipitation assays were used to explore the molecular mechanism.Results:The missense variant rs3769823(A>G),which caused the substitution of lysine with arginine at amino acid 14 in caspase-8(caspase-8K14R),was identified as a potential causal candidate in 2q33.1.Compared with the wild type caspase-8(caspase8WT)group,the caspase-8K14R group had higher expression of caspase-8 and cleaved caspase-8.Caspase-8K14R inhibited the proliferation and metastasis of human lung cancer cell lines in vitro.Moreover,caspase-8K14R repressed lung cancer cell growth in vivo.Mechanistically,caspase-8K14R was more sensitive than caspase-8WT to tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand(TRAIL)-mediated apoptosis and showed higher binding of caspase-8 and FADD.Conclusions:These results suggested that rs3769823 is the causal variant in chromosome 2q33.1 and is involved in an apoptosis pathway,leading to a decreased risk of NSCLC.

文摘Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) have been developed for over 30 years;however, existing electrode materials cannot satisfy the increasing requirements of high-energy density, stable cycling, and low cost. Here, we present a perovskite-type LaNiO3 oxide(LNO) as a new negative electrode material. LNO was successfully synthesized by a sol-gel method. The microstructure and electrochemical performance of LNO calcined at various temperatures have been systematically investigated. The LNO electrode shows a high rate capability and long cycling stability. In a C-rate test, a specific capacity of 77 mAh/g was exhibited at 6 C. LNO can also deliver a specific capacity of 92 mAh/g after 200 cycles at 1 C. This paper presents a type of binary metal oxide as a new anode material for high-performance LIBs.

文摘With the increasing intensive and large-scale development of the sika deer breeding industry,it is crucial to assess the health status of the sika deer by monitoring their behaviours.A machine vision-based method for the behaviour recognition of sika deer is proposed in this paper.Google Inception Net(GoogLeNet)is used to optimise the model in this paper.First,the number of layers and size of the model were reduced.Then,the 5×5 convolution was changed to two 3×3 convolutions,which reduced the parameters and increased the nonlinearity of the model.A 5×5 convolution kernel was used to replace the original convolution for extracting coarse-grained features and improving the model’s extraction ability.A multi-scale module was added to the model to enhance the multi-faceted feature extraction capability of the model.Simultaneously,the Squeeze-and-Excitation Networks(SE-Net)module was included to increase the channel’s attention and improve the model’s accuracy.The dataset’s images were rotated to reduce overfitting.For image rotation,the angle wasmultiplied by 30°to obtain the dataset enhanced by rotation operations of 30°,60°,90°,120°and 150°.The experimental results showed that the recognition rate of this model in the behaviour of sika deer was 98.92%.Therefore,the model presented in this paper can be applied to the behaviour recognition of sika deer.The results will play an essential role in promoting animal behaviour recognition technology and animal health monitoring management.

文摘The incidence of prostate cancer has increased year by year in the world.Despite improvements in diagnosis,surgical techniques,and drugs,survival rates of prostate cancer have improved little,and most prostate cancer-related deaths are as a result of castration resistant prostate cancer(CRPC),which progresses and metastasizes after surgical or medical castration.The pathogenesis of CRPC is still unclear.It has been found that the majority of CRPC patients have overexpression of androgen receptors(ARs),and there are many forms of changes in the signaling pathways that intersect with them during he process to CRPC.Micro ribonucleic acid(miRNA)plays an important role in regulating the expression and translation of prostate cancer target genes,and in the life cycle of cell cycle distribution and apoptosis.Relatedly,active changes in miRNA expression are also closely related to androgen.Therefore,the study of AR-related signaling pathways and AR and miRNA-related signaling pathways is of great significance in the treatment of CRPC.
文摘Architecture is an indispensable part of the development of human civilization and the carrier of human civilization.The evolution of architectural style can also reflect the development of a nation.With the continuous development of history,the preservation and development of historic sites has gradually become a topic of common concern in China and the west.However,with the continuous development of modern technology,there are fewer and fewer traditional cultural elements in the newly-built buildings,which lead to the gradual loss of some traditional architectural culture.In order to avoid the further aggravation of this phenomenon,something should be done.From the perspective of the development characteristics of Chinese and western architectural culture,the characteristics and differences of the development process of Chinese and western architecture were listed from ancient to modern times,and gradually the main reasons for the different development directions and characteristics were analyzed.In addition,according to the law and characteristics of the development of Chinese and western architecture,some methods on how to solve the inheritance of Chinese modern architecture to traditional culture were put forward.
文摘Objective: The present study aimed to analyze the association rules of Fufang Kushen injection in combination with other traditional Chinese medicine ( TCM) or modern medications in treating cervical cancer (CC) based on the electrical medical records extracted from real-world hospital information system. Methods: The clinicians’ prescriptions regarding to the combination of with TCM or modern medications were from hospital information system electronic medical data integration warehouse established by the Institute of Basic Medical Research of Chinese Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, which integrated the hospital information system data of 22 hospitals. The association rules of the drug characteristics were analyzed through Apriori algorithm. Results: A total of 839 patients with CC were included. We found that is often combined with prescriptions which could clear heat, remove toxicity, supplement Qi. also combined with chemotherapeutic drugs, immunomodulatory drugs, 5-HT receptor blockers, and glucocorticoids. The combination presents a specific law. Conclusion: Fufang Kushen injection combined with hepatoprotective drugs, immunomodulators and glucocorticoids is often used to treat cervical cancer.

文摘Cores and filamentary structures are the prime birthplaces of stars,and play key roles in the process of star formation.Latest advances in the methods of multi-scale source and filament extraction,and in making highresolution column density map from Herschel multi-wavelength observations enable us to detect the filamentary network structures in highly complex molecular cloud environments.The statistics for physical parameters shows that core mass strongly correlates with core dust temperature,and M/L strongly correlates with M/T,which is in line with the prediction of the blackbody radiation,and can be used to trace evolutionary sequence from unbound starless cores to robust prestellar cores.Crest column densities of the filamentary structures are clearly related with mass per unit length(M_(line)),but are uncorrelated by three orders ranging from~10^(20) to~10^(22) cm^(-2) with widths.Full width at half maximum has a median value of 0.15 pc,which is consistent with the 0.1 pc typical inner width of the filamentary structures reported by previous research.We find 70%of robust prestellar cores(135/199)embedded in supercritical filaments with M_(line),>16 M⊙pc^(-1),which implies that the gravitationally bound cores come from fragmentation of supercritical filaments.On the basis of observational evidence that the probability distribution function with power-law distribution in the Perseus south is flatter than in the north,the number of young stellar objects in the south is significantly less than that in the north,and dust temperature is different.We infer that the south region is more gravitationally bound than the north region.

文摘Pre-metastatic niches(PMNs)are the microenvi-ronments prepared by the interaction of tumor cells and the surrounding microenvironment for the colonization of circulating tumor cells at distant metastatic sites and before metastasis and spreading.The formation of PMNs includes processes such as vascular leakage and permeability changes,coagulation abnor-malities,extracellular matrix remodeling,migration and recruit-ment of bone marrow-derived cells,and immunosuppression,in which tumor-derived exosomes,tumor-derived soluble factors(TDSFs),bone marrow-derived cells(BMDCs),etc.are crucial in this process.This article focuses on the pre-metastasis microen-vironment,in-depth analysis of representative factors such as tumor-derived secretory factors,exosomes,bone marrow-derived cells and myeloid-derived suppressor cells,and other molecular network mechanisms involved in the formation of PMNs,and introduces tumors The characteristics of the metastatic cascade and the selection of organ parts outline the different roles of related molecules in the regulation of metastasis.That provide an effective reference value in order to better understand the mechanisms of tumor metastasis,tumor metastasis look for potential markers and diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

文摘Implantable system maximizes drug concentration and continuously releases drugs near the tumor,which is an effective tool to solve the difficult retention of chemotherapy drugs in bladder cancer.In this work,a novel polysaccharide supramolecular injectable hydrogel(CCA hydrogels for short)is rapidly constructed by simply mixing cationic chitosan,anionic sulfobutyl etherβ-cyclodextrin(SBE-β-CD)and a trace amount of silver ions.The injected hydrogel reconstituted and regained its shape in less than 1 h,and it can still maintain the elasticity suitable for the human body.By packaging the drug directly,the gel achieves a high concentration of doxorubicin,an anticancer drug.Using MB49-luc cells as the model of bladder tumor for anti-tumor in vivo,the CCA-DOX gel has obvious inhibitory effect on bladder tumor,and its inhibitory effect is much greater than that of free DOX.Therefore,this self-healing injectable hydrogel has great potential for in situ treatment of bladder cancer.
