Objective This study was to examine the relationship between socioeconomic status and the incidence and mortality of non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL).Methods We compared the age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR),age-standard...Objective This study was to examine the relationship between socioeconomic status and the incidence and mortality of non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL).Methods We compared the age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR),age-standardized mortality rate(ASMR),and the ASMR to ASIR ratio(MIR)at national and regional levels and studied the correlation between the MIR and the human development index(HDI)in 2012 and 2018.Results The highest ASIR was in North America in 2012 and in Australia in 2018,and the lowest ASIR was in Central and South Asia in both 2012 and 2018.The highest ASMR was in North Africa in both 2012 and 2018,and the lowest ASMR was in Eastern Asia and South-Central Asia in 2012 and in South-Central Asia in 2018.The lowest MIR was in Australia in both 2012 and 2018,and the highest MIR was in Western Africa in both 2012 and 2018.HDI was strongly negatively correlated with MIR(r:−0.8810,P<0.0001,2012;r:−0.8895,P<0.0001,2018).Compared to the 2012 data,the MIR in the intermediate HDI countries significantly deceased and the HDI in low and high HDI countries significantly increased in 2018.Conclusion The MIR is negatively correlated with HDI.Increasing the HDI in low and intermediate HDI countries may reduce the MIR and increase the survival of patients with NHL.展开更多
The noncentrosymmetricity of a prototypical correlated electron system Ca3Ru2O7 renders extensive interest in the possible polar metallic state,along with multiple other closely competing interactions.However,the stru...The noncentrosymmetricity of a prototypical correlated electron system Ca3Ru2O7 renders extensive interest in the possible polar metallic state,along with multiple other closely competing interactions.However,the structural domain formation in this material often complicates the study of intrinsic material properties.It is crucial to fully characterize the structural domains for unrevealing underlying physics.Here,we report the domain imaging on Ca3Ru2O7 crystal using the reflection of polarized light at normal incidence.The reflection anisotropy measurement utilizes the relative orientation between electric field component of the incident polarized light and the principal axis of the crystal,and gives rise to a peculiar contrast.The domain walls are found to be the interfaces between 90° rotated twin crystals by complementary magnetization measurements.A distinct contrast in reflectance is also found in the opposite cleavage surfaces,owing to the polar mode of the RuO6 octahedra.More importantly,the analysis of the contrast between all inequivalent cleavage surfaces enables a direct determination of the crystallographic orientation of each domain.Such an approach provides an efficient yet feasible method for structural domain characterization,which can also find applications in noncentrosymmetric crystals in general.展开更多
Simultaneous conversion of CO_(2)and biomass into value-added chemicals through solar-driven catalysis holds tremendous importance for fostering a sustainable circular economy.Herein,plasmonic Bi quantum dots were imm...Simultaneous conversion of CO_(2)and biomass into value-added chemicals through solar-driven catalysis holds tremendous importance for fostering a sustainable circular economy.Herein,plasmonic Bi quantum dots were immobilized on phosphoric acid modified attapulgite(P-ATP)nanorod using an in-situ reduction-deposition method,and were employed for photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2)coupled with oxidation of biomass-derived benzyl alcohol.Results revealed that Bi atoms successfully integrated into the basal structure of P-ATP,forming chemically coordinated Bi-O-Si bonds that served as efficient transportation channels for electrons.The incorporation of high-density monodispersed Bi quantum dots induced a surface plasmon resonance(SPR)effect,expanding the light absorption range into the near-infrared region.As a consequence,the photo-thermal transformation was significantly accelerated,leading to enhanced reaction kinetics.Notably,50%Bi/P-ATP nanocomposite exhibited the highest plasmon-mediated photocatalytic CH4 generation(115.7μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1))and CO generation(44.9μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1)),along with remarkable benzaldehyde generation rate of 79.5μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1)in the photo-redox coupling system under solar light irradiation.The hydrogen protons released from the oxidation of benzyl alcohol facilitated the incorporation of more hydrogen protons into CO_(2)to form key CH_(3)O−intermediates.This work demonstrates the synergistic solar-driven valorization of CO_(2)and biomass using natural mineral based catalyst.展开更多
