LIGO-Virgo has observed the gravitational waves(GWs)from the coalescence of binary black hole(BBH)and binary neutron star(BNS)during O1 and O2,and the ones from NS-BH are expected to be hunted in the operating O3 run.The population properties and mass distribution of NS-BH mergers are poorly understood now, thus researchers simulated their chirp mass(M)distribution by a synthetic model,in which the BHs and NSs were inferred by LIGO-Virgo(O1/O2),and obtained the values in the range of 2.1 M_(⊙)<M<7.3 M_(⊙).In this paper,we further simulate the GW frequency(fGW)distribution of NS-BH mergers by the above-stated synthetic model, with a basic binary system model through the Monte Carlo method. Our results predict that the median with 90%credible intervals is 165+475-64 Hz in the case of Schwarzschild BH when the system just before merger, and this GW frequency is expected to increase several times in the merger stage, which is lying in the frequency band of LIGO-Virgo,i.e.,about 15 Hz to a few kHz.Our results provide an important reference for hunting the NS-BH mergers by the on-going O3 run of LIGO-Virgo. 展开更多

A close relationship has been reported to exist between cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion and integrin-mediated cell mobility, and protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP1B)may be involved in maintaining this homeostasis. The stable residence of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)and endothelial cells(ECs)in their niches is closely related to the regulation of PTP1B.However,the exact role of the departure of MSCs and ECs from their niches during bone regeneration is largely unknown. Here,we show that the phosphorylation state of PTP1B tyrosine-152(Y152)plays a central role in initiating the departure of these cells from their niches and their subsequent recruitment to bone defects.Based on our previous design of a PTP1B Y152 region-mimicking peptide(152RM)that significantly inhibits the phosphorylation of PTP1B Y152,further investigations revealed that 152RM enhanced cell migration partly via integrinαvβ3 and promoted MSCs osteogenic differentiation partly by inhibiting ATF3.Moreover,152RM induced type H vessels formation by activating Notch signaling.Demineralized bone matrix(DBM)scaffolds were fabricated with mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs),and 152RM was then loaded onto them by electrostatic adsorption. The DBM-MSN/152RM scaffolds were demonstrated to induce bone formation and type H vessels expansion in vivo.In conclusion, our data reveal that 152RM contributes to bone formation by coupling osteogenesis with angiogenesis, which may offer a potential therapeutic strategy for bone defects. 展开更多

High sensitivity radio searches of unassociated γ-ray sources have proven to be an effective way of finding new pulsars. Using the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) during its commissioning phase, we have carried out a number of targeted deep searches of Fermi Large Area Telescope(LAT) γ-ray sources. On February 27, 2018 we discovered an isolated millisecond pulsar(MSP), PSR J0318+0253, coincident with the unassociated γ-ray source 3 FGL J0318.1+0252. PSR J0318+0253 has a spin period of 5.19 ms, a dispersion measure(DM) of 26 pc cm-3 corresponding to a DM distance of about 1.3 kpc, and a period-averaged flux density of(~11±2) μJy at L-band(1.05-1.45 GHz). Among all high energy MSPs, PSR J0318+0253 is the faintest ever detected in radio bands, by a factor of at least ~4 in terms of L-band fluxes. With the aid of the radio ephemeris, an analysis of 9.6 years of Fermi-LAT data revealed that PSR J0318+0253 also displays strong γ-ray pulsations. Follow-up observations carried out by both Arecibo and FAST suggest a likely spectral turn-over around 350 MHz. This is the first result from the collaboration between FAST and the Fermi-LAT teams as well as the first confirmed new MSP discovery by FAST, raising hopes for the detection of many more MSPs. Such discoveries will make a significant contribution to our understanding of the neutron star zoo while potentially contributing to the future detection of gravitational waves, via pulsar timing array(PTA) experiments. 展开更多

PSR B0919+06 is known for its abnormal emission phenomenon, where the pulse emission window occasionally shifts progressively in longitude and returns afterwards. The physical mechanism behind this phenomenon is still under investigation. In this paper, we present our ultra-wideband observation of this pulsar using the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST), with simultaneous measurements in the frequency ranges 280-780 and 1250-1550 MHz. We have identified three abnormal events, each of which becomes less apparent as the frequency decreases. At 1400 MHz, the averaged profile slightly shifted after the first and third abnormal events, implying a relationship between abnormal event and profile variation. We also found a linear trend in the left-edge position of the averaged profiles between the first and third events as well as after the third event, suggesting the existence of a slow-drifting mode between the two major events. The second event has a comparatively small shift in phase and is thus categorized as a "small flare state". During the third event, a sequence of approximately nine pulses was seen to significantly weaken in all frequency bands, likely associated with the pseudo-nulling observed at 150 MHz.A three-component de-composition analysis of the normal averaged profiles shows that the trailing component is dominant at our observing frequencies, while the centre component has a comparatively steeper spectrum. We found the overall flux density in an abnormal event to slightly differ from that in an ordinary state, and the difference shows a frequency dependence. A comparison of the normal, abnormal and dimmed averaged profile indicates that the leading component is likely to be stable in all states. 展开更多
