Methods: Pregnant women who were diagnosed with preeclampsia in Jianshi People's Hospital between July 2014 and March 2017 were selected as the PE group of the research, and healthy pregnant women who received antenatal care and gave birth in Jianshi People's Hospital during the same period were selected as the control group of the research. The MTHFR gene C677T polymorphism in peripheral blood, the contents of homocysteine (Hcy) metabolism indexes and the expression of apoptosis genes and invasion genes were determined. Results: The proportion of MTHFR gene C677T locus TT genotype in peripheral blood of PE group was significantly higher than that of control group while the proportion of CT and CC genotypes were significantly lower than those of control group;Hcy levels in serum and placenta as well as FasL, Caspase-8, Bax, Caspase-9 and Caspase-3 mRNA expression in placenta of PE women with TT genotype were significantly higher than those of PE women with CT genotype and CC genotype while folic acid levels in serum and placenta as well as Notch-1, N-cadherin, Vimentin, CatL and CatB mRNA expression in placenta were significantly lower than those of PE women with CT genotype and CC genotype. Conclusion: MTHFR gene C677T locus mutation can participate in the occurrence of preeclampsia by affecting the Hcy metabolism as well as the expression of apoptosis genes and invasion genes.展开更多

By the microstructure observation of the composite with the aid of scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM), it can be found that there are(Fe, Ni),AlFe, Al3 Ni, and Cu3 Al precipitated phases existing in the matrix alloy. By two-stage light gas gun, Wf/Cu82Al10-Fe4Ni4composite hypervelocity projectile into concrete target test with the speed of 2.2 kmás-1is finished. By microstructure observation, it can be found that the failure mode of Wf/Cu82Al10Fe4Ni4composite projectile during penetration is the rapid peeling of tungsten fibers from the projectile, which makes the projectile display good selfsharpening property. Meanwhile, it can be found that microstructure morphology change of Wf/Cu82Al10Fe4Ni4composite occurs after hypervelocity impact. The density of dislocations around the large-dimensional(Fe, Ni),AlFe, Al3 Ni, and Cu3 Al precipitated phases in the matrix alloy rises sharply. The results show that the material possesses high- dynamic mechanical properties, significant temperature effects, and strain hardening behaviors. Used two-stage light gas gun, the penetration test of 93W projectile was finished. After the completion of the test, through the microstructure observation of the residual 93W projectiles with the aid of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), it can be found that there are obvious signs of hot melt existing on the surface of the projectile, a lot of adiabatic shear bands inside the projectile, and microcracks exist at the end of adiabatic shear bands. The test results show that adiabatic shear is the main form to cause the projectile failure and it is the emergence of the adiabatic shearing phenomenon that makes 93W display good self-sharpening property in the process of hypervelocity penetration. Objective:The objective of this study was to investigate the mechanism by which total ginseng extract(TGE)inhibits the progression of lung cancer through network pharmacology and experimentation.Materials and Methods:...Objective:The objective of this study was to investigate the mechanism by which total ginseng extract(TGE)inhibits the progression of lung cancer through network pharmacology and experimentation.Materials and Methods:A Lewis lung carcinomas(LLC)model was established by injecting cancer cells through the tail vein and through administering different doses of TGE.The infiltrated immune cells into the microenvironment of lung cancer metastasis through flow cytometry were evaluated,and the messenger RNA(mRNA)expression levels of various immune cell-related chemokines were determined using quantitative reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction.Therapeutic targets and signaling pathways of TGE in nonsmall cell lung cancer were investigated using systematic pharmacology and virtual docking.Immunoblotting was performed to determine the impacts of TGE on migration-related proteins.Results:Flow cytometry showed that 1.82 g/kg TGE increased the infiltrated T cells and inhibited the recruitment of myeloid cells,which was caused by decreased mRNA expression of chemokines after TGE treatment.Gene ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses showed that the delayed progression of lung cancer by TGE might be related to the promotion of lung cancer cell apoptosis-associated signaling pathways.The virtual docking results indicated that the active components of ginseng are directly bound to apoptosis-related proteins.Immunoblotting showed that TGE inhibited tumor metastasis by regulating the expression of migration-related proteins.Conclusions:The study reveals the potential mechanism of ginseng extract in the treatment of lung cancer progression and provides a reliable basis for its clinical application.展开更多
ZrO_(2) toughened Al_(2)O_(3)(Al_(2)O_(3)/ZrO_(2))ceramic layers with required thickness were prepared by electrophoretic deposition(EPD)method using ethanol suspensions with stabilizing agent of polyethyleneimine(PEI...ZrO_(2) toughened Al_(2)O_(3)(Al_(2)O_(3)/ZrO_(2))ceramic layers with required thickness were prepared by electrophoretic deposition(EPD)method using ethanol suspensions with stabilizing agent of polyethyleneimine(PEI)under constant-voltage mode in this paper.The deposition of Al_(2)O_(3)/ZrO_(2) ceramic powders occurred on the titanium alloy cathode.A stable suspension with 1wt% PEI in ethanol at pH 5 was prepared in terms of the zeta potential and sedimentation of the suspension.The effects of the suspension concentration,applied voltage,deposition time and processing method of titanium alloy cathode on the coating thickness and morphology were investigated.The deposition layers on titanium alloys with smooth surfaces and thickness of 0.35–1.2 mm could be obtained by adjusting the aforementioned parameters.In addition,after being sintered at 1500℃ for 3 h in air atmosphere,ZrO_(2) toughened Al_(2)O_(3) ceramic layers became smooth and dense.展开更多
Through several studies exploiting next-generation sequencing,we are obtaining a clearer picture of the complex genetic and molecular landscape of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Consistent with the findings of other ca...Through several studies exploiting next-generation sequencing,we are obtaining a clearer picture of the complex genetic and molecular landscape of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Consistent with the findings of other cancer types,telomerase reverse transcriptase(TERT)promoter mutations have been frequently reported in HCC.C228T and C250T are two major types of hot spot mutations in the TERT promoter region.Besides,in hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related HCC cases,the TERT promoter is recurrently interrupted by integration of HBV DNA.TERT promoter mutations are thought to be an early event in HCC carcinogenesis,and they are significantly associated with disease progression.In this review,we provide an updated overview of the somatic mutations in the TERT promoter region and discuss their possible roles in the development of HCC.展开更多
