Film of PEO containg AgCF3SO3 were prepared by the solution casting technique. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy have been carried out on a series of complexes containing poly (ethylene oxide) PEO and silver triflate (AgCF3SO3) salt. Spectral analysis of all the samples has revealed the complexation of silver ions with oxygen in PEO. The ac conductivity and electrical modulus of the samples prepared have been analyzed. The ac conductivity was observed to obey the Universal power law. The temperature dependence of the power law exponent n is reasonably interpreted by the overlapping large polaron tunneling (OLPT) model. The imaginary part, M” of electrical modulus shows the formation of dispersion peak. The plot of log conductivity relaxation times and log sigma as a function of salt concentration was in accordance with each other. 展开更多

The electrical properties of proton ion beam irradiated glass samples are carried out by impedance spectroscopy in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 32 MHz. The ion beam of energy 3 MeV and fluence of of 1014 particles cm-2 was chosen for irradiation. The conductivity of the super ionic glass samples increases after irradiation and other electrical parameters like dielectric constant, dielectric loss and modulus of the proton irradiated glass samples as a function of glass composition and temperature are observed to change. The dielectric constant and the dielectric losses are increased after irradiation and the modulus parameters confirm the non-Debye nature for irradiated samples also. 展开更多

Polymer blend electrolytes, where PEO-PMMA polymer blend is used as polymer host matrix, doped with AgNO3 and plasticized with ethylene carbonate (EC) and Al2O3 as nano-filler were synthesized using the solution cast techniques. The polymer films were characterized by impedance spectroscopy, XRD, DSC, SEM, FT-IR and ionic transport mea-surements. The results indicate an enhancement in conductivity of PEO-PMMA-AgNO3-EC polymer electrolytes. The ionic conductivity of the polymer films is also found to increase with temperature. Electrical properties of polymer films in the framework of dielectric and modulus formalism are studied and 展开更多
