The fossils come from the red sandy clay, overlying unconformably on the Late Paleozoic limestone or Jurassic sandy mud. On the basis of a preliminary analysis of the several hundred fossil mammals, the most common genera are Hipparion, Chilotherium and Eostyloce-展开更多
