高合金钢冶炼用锆质引流砂的研制与应用

以锆英砂、铬铁矿和石英砂为主要原料,制备了满足电炉钢包高合金钢冶炼需求的锆质引流砂,研究了石英砂含量对其组成、结构和性能的影响。结果表明:经高温热处理后,随着石英砂含量增加,试样的线变化率逐渐增大,显气孔率明显减小,体积密... 以锆英砂、铬铁矿和石英砂为主要原料,制备了满足电炉钢包高合金钢冶炼需求的锆质引流砂,研究了石英砂含量对其组成、结构和性能的影响。结果表明:经高温热处理后,随着石英砂含量增加,试样的线变化率逐渐增大,显气孔率明显减小,体积密度先减小后增大,各试样内各颗粒均为点接触为主,形成了以K_(2)O-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-FeO为主的低熔相,高温耐压强度略有增大,烧结层厚度增加,促进了引流砂烧结。针对宝钢电炉钢包高合金钢种冶炼(合金量Cr+Ni+Mo≥8%),采用锆质引流砂替代铬质引流砂进行应用,目前已稳定使用9个月(合计210炉次),钢包自动自开率明显改善,由85.0%提高至97.2%。 展开更多

Influences of Binders on Properties of Highalumina Repairing Mix for Medium-frequency Induction Furnace

Three kinds of high-alumina repairing mixes for medium-frequency induction furnace were prepared by ramming method with sodium silicate, phosphoric acid and aluminium dihydrogen phosphate as binder, respectively. Physical properties of the specimens heat treated at different temperatures were tested and compared. The results show that the specimen bonded by sodium silicate behaves much higher strength after fired at 1 600 ℃ compared with the specimen, bonded by phosphoric acid or aluminium dihydrogen phosphate. Due to more liquid phase formation the properties of specimen bonded by sodium silicate are poor with a low strength and a large volume shrinkage at high temperatures. Meanwhile. the speeimen bonded by phosphoric acid and aluminium dihydrogen phosphate, respectively, show relatively high strengths and slight volume expansions at high temperatures because of in-situ mullite formation. 展开更多

The results show that the microstructures of solidified resins with different mo- lecular structures are different, which have obvious effect on the cold mechanical properties of MgO - C brick, but little effect on the oxidation resistance, thermal perform- ance and expansion properties. 展开更多

Carbon-free Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO dense bricks were produced by the pressing method,using tabular alumina,white fused alumina,alumina micro-powder as main raw materials,and inorganic powder as the binder.The comprehensive properties and performance in steel ladle side wall were made a comparison between Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO dense bricks and precast blocks.The results show that Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO dense bricks exhibit high dense structure and strength,as well as superior thermal shock resistance and better penetration and corrosion resistance to slag than precast blocks.While replacing precast blocks with dense bricks in 250 t steel ladle side wall in some domestic steel mills,the thickness of the metamorphic layer from slag penetration and the corrosion rate decrease evidently.The damage of dense bricks during service is mainly caused by the corrosion from molten steel and slag,and the structure spalling of the metamorphic layer also plays an important role. 展开更多
