In this paper,the approximate synchronization of leader-follower multiagent systems(MASs) over finite fields is studied in regard to local and global synchronization.First,the approximately synchronous state set(ASSS)...In this paper,the approximate synchronization of leader-follower multiagent systems(MASs) over finite fields is studied in regard to local and global synchronization.First,the approximately synchronous state set(ASSS) is obtained.Second,combined with ASSS and transient periods,some criteria for the local and global approximate synchronization of systems are given.Moreover,the algorithms for calculating the maximum approximately synchronous basin(MASB) and the maximum control invariant set(MCIS) are presented.Third,the global approximate synchronization of the system is achieved by designing the state feedback control,and a design algorithm of the controller using the truth matrix method is proposed.Moreover,the results of approximate synchronization are degenerated to complete synchronization.Last,two examples are shown to demonstrate the results of this paper.展开更多
In this paper,observability is studied for periodically switched Boolean control networks(PSBCNs),which are managed with periodic switching signal and consist of some Boolean control networks.Firstly,via semi-tensor p...In this paper,observability is studied for periodically switched Boolean control networks(PSBCNs),which are managed with periodic switching signal and consist of some Boolean control networks.Firstly,via semi-tensor product of matrices,PSBCNs are expressed as algebraic forms.Secondly,a parallel system is constructed by combining two same PSBCNs,based on which,the observability problem of the original PSBCN can be transformed into the set reachability problem of this parallel system.Then,two necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained to detect reachability of parallel systems and observability of PSBCNs.In addition,the proposed conditions are extended to the case of state constraints.Finally,a practical example and a numerical example are provided to illustrate the results.展开更多

An experimental investigation of the influence of temperature on the Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC) effect in Al-Mg alloy is conducted.Under a certain strain rate,the PLC effect is present in the temperature range of 223-...An experimental investigation of the influence of temperature on the Portevin-Le Chatelier(PLC) effect in Al-Mg alloy is conducted.Under a certain strain rate,the PLC effect is present in the temperature range of 223-328 K.The serration amplitude increases monotonically with increasing temperature,whereas the behaviors of the serration period and the critical strain with temperature include a descending branch under corresponding low temperature range and an ascending branch under corresponding high temperature range.The analysis in relation with dynamic strain aging(DSA) indicates that the temperature plays an important role in the PLC effect by dictating the solubility and the diffusibility of solute atoms.Both the concentration and the diffusibility of solute atoms contribute to increasing the serration amplitude.Under the descending branch temperature range,the serration period mainly depends on the preparation phase and the dominant factor of critical strain is the velocity of dislocations.However,under the ascending branch temperature range,the serration period mainly depends on the pinning phase and the dominant factor of critical strain is the applied stress required for unpinning.展开更多
