Winter wheat(Titicum aestivum L.) cultivar Xumai 30 was cultured under no nitrogen(control) and 240 kg ha-1of nitrogen applied at the booting stage. The number, morphology, and size of Aand B-type SGs in subaleurone of dorsal endosperm(SDE), center of dorsal endosperm(CDE), modified aleurone(MA), subaleurone of ventral endosperm(SVE), and center of ventral endosperm(CVE) were observed under light and electron microscopes.(1) The distribution of SGs in SDE was similar to that in SVE, the distributions of SGs in CDE and CVE were similar, but the distribution of SGs in MA was different from those in the other four endosperm regions. The number of SGs in the five endosperm regions was in the order SDE > CDE > SVE > CVE > MA.(2) Nitrogen increased the number of Aand B-type SGs in SDE and SVE. Nitrogen also increased the number of B-type SGs but decreased the number of A-type SGs in CDE and CVE. Nitrogen decreased the numbers of A-type and B-type SGs in MA. The results suggest that increased N fertilizer application mainly increased the numbers of small SGs and decreased the numbers of large SGs, but that the results varied in different regions of the wheat endosperm.展开更多

Other therapies include radiotherapy and chemotherapy, as well as complementary and alternative therapies, usually with disappointing results. Bronchial artery infusion(BAI) is a manageable and effective method for treating advanced NSCLC. Outcome is good by BAI due to its repeatability and low toxicity. Icotinib hydrochloride is a newly developed and highly specific epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor and has been safely and efficiently used to treat advanced NSCLC. We herein report a 73-year-old patient with chronic cough, who was diagnosed with advanced NSCLC with the EGFR mutation of L858 R substitution in exon 21, and treated with the combination of oral icotinib and BAI chemotherapy as the first-line therapy, which resulted in a satisfactory clinical outcome. Complete remission of advanced NSCLC can be achieved using the combination of oral icotinib and BAI chemotherapy.展开更多

In order to analyze the factors which impact on user's weight, under the analysis of the data collected from SINA Microblog network, this paper discovers that user influence and active degrees are the dominant factors for this issue. The proposed algorithm evaluates user influence by user's follower number, the influence of user's followers and the reciprocity between users. User's active degree is modeled by user's participation and the quality of user's tweets. The models are tested by different data groups to confirm the parameters for the final calculation. Eventually, this paper compares the computational results with the user's ranking order given by the SINA official application. The performance of this algorithm presents a stronger stability on the fluctuant range of the value of user's weight.展开更多

The Brazilian Interconnected Power System(BIPS) is a large system covering an extensive geographical region, which faces certain risks and challenges. It has several main transmission corridors associated with large power plants and interconnection between the northern and southeastern regions. Mismatch between the energy base and load pool also exists in Brazil as energy resources are not well-distributed; therefore, the use of large-capacity, long-distance transmission technique to transmit remote power is unescapable. On the other hand, there are many types of voltage levels and multiple entangled electromagnetic loops owing to historical reasons. Then, for insufficient power reservation and defective grid body in load pools, once the external power is cut, it's easy to raise a blackout. The infrastructure is old and the power system operates close to the upper limit. All these represent risks and challenges to BIPS. Through WAMS technology research method in this project, the electrical power system function of monitoring, analysis, and control improved from the static state to the dynamic state. WAMS enhances data integration and real-time analysis capabilities, and can provide dispatchers with high quality real-time dynamic information and decision-making support information, enhance monitoring of auxiliary services in the electricity market, enable operators to improve the accuracy of power network analysis, thereby increasing power grid monitoring and operation, and improve the transmission capacity and reliability of the power grid operation [1].展开更多

The results showed that Pb contents in grains at different positions followed the order of endosperm > pericarp > aleurone. The differences of Pb contents varied among the WVFSE, and wheat with strong gluten had a highest average content of Pb, while wheat with medium gluten had a lowest one. There were significant third order equation correlations between Pb content in endosperm and that in aleurone layer and that in pericarp, respectively. And good correlation coefficients were obtained. However, the correlation differed at different position among WVFSE, which indicated that Pb contents in endosperm, aleurone layer and pericarp were regulated by each other.展开更多

This investigation into anti-rollover propensity improvement concentrates on the vehicle parameters greatly influencing on anti-rollover propensity of vehicle. A simulation based on fishhook procedure is used to perform design trials and evaluations aimed at ensuring an optimal balance between vehicle's design parameters and various engineering capacities, the anti-rollover propensity is optimized at the detailed design stage of a new SUV model. Firstly a four-DOF theoretical kinematic model is established, then a complete multi-body dynamics model built in ADAMS/car based on the whole vehicle parameters is correlated to the objective handing and stability test results of a mule car. Secondly, in fish- hook test simulations, the Design of Experiments method is used to quantify the effect of the vehicle parameters on the anti-rollover performance. By means of the simulation, the roll center height of front suspension should be more than 30 mm, that of rear suspension less than 150 mm, and the HCG less than 620 mm for the SUV. The ratio of front to rear suspension roll stiffness should be ranged from 1.4 to1.6 for the SUV. As a result, at the detailed design stage of product, the anti-rollover performance of vehicle can be improved by optimizing chassis and integrated vehicle parameters.展开更多

We have introduced a mixed scheme which combines a characteristics finite element scheme for treating the mass conservation equation and a finite element method to deal with the momentum equation and the divergence free constraint. The proposed method has a lot of attractive computational properties: parameter-free, very flexible, and averting the difficulties caused by the original equations. The stability of the method is proved. Finally, several numerical experiments are given to show that this method is efficient for variable density incompressible flows problem.展开更多

文摘A double burden of overweight/obesity and malnutrition during childhood is a major concern in China.Dietary intakes in this critical period affect children’s physical and cognitive development, and also have health consequences in later life. Therefore, establishing healthy eating habits that will endure is crucial for children.Nutrition education is an effective way in improving nutrition knowledge and attitudes, and healthy eating behaviors.Diverse forms of nutrition improvement programs that targeting children, family, teachers, and school settings have been conducted in many developed countries. However, due to the differences of genetic background, household environment as well as dietary patterns between Chinese children and children from other countries, the existing nutrition education programs for children abroad might not be appropriate for children in China. Thus, nutrition education programs that consider Chinese nutrition-related policies and food supply as well as the local educational resources are required for Chinese children. This review summarized nutrition-related policies and legislations in China and developed countries.A series of evidence-based nutrition education programs that combined educational strategies and environmental supports conducted in the Southwest China Childhood Nutrition and Growth Study were presented. These programs can serve as example models for adopting nutrition interventions to improve nutrition and health status of children in different regions of China.
文摘Natural medicine is a system of therapy that administrates natural agents and their derivatives to treat human diseases. This medicine has been used to treat many kinds of human diseases for thousands of years. The treatment protocols of natural medicine are integrative in nature, and are required to utilize the most appropriate therapies to address the needs of the individual patient.Because of the relative convenience, safety and efficacy, natural medicine is now increasing worldwide.Naturopathic doctors are licensed in many areas of the world and regulated partly by law in these areas, which is quite different from various other forms of complementary and alternative medicine.Liver diseases, such as hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and liver carcinoma, are serious health problems worldwide.Nearly half of the natural agents used in treatment of liver diseases today are natural products and their derivatives.Although natural medicine is beneficial and safe, physicians should pay close attention to the potential side-effects of the naturopathic agents, which lead to liver injury, interstitial pneumonia and acute respiratory failure. Therefore, when administrating naturopathic protocols to patients for the treatment of liver diseases,we should try our best to prevent and avoid as much as possible the negative impact of these medicines. This article highlights the current practice and recommended improvement of natural medicines in the treatment of liver diseases and gives some specific examples to emphasize the prevention and management of adverse reactions of the natural agents and suggests that natural medicine should be cautiously used to treat liver problems.

文摘Currently, many research from domestic and foreign on improving anti-rollover performance of vehicle mainly focus on the electronic control of auxiliary equip- ment, do not make full use of suspension layout to optimize anti-rollover performance of vehicle. As a result, at the detailed design stage of product, the anti-rollover performance of vehicle can be improved by optimizing chassis and integrated vehicle parameters.
文摘BACKGROUND Malignant tumors of the ileocecal region often cause intestinal obstruction.Emergency surgery is the main treatment for patients presenting with an obstruction. However, this procedure is associated with a high mortality rate and frequent complications. The placement of colon stents is commonly performed for obstructions in the distal colon and is a less invasive and safer procedure. However, obstructions in the proximal colon are more challenging to treat by stent placement due to the increased distance from the anus.CASE SUMMARY This case report concerns an 88-year-old man with malignant intestinal obstruction in the ileocecal region. He was contraindicated for general anesthesia and surgical enterostomy. The placement of a self-expandable metallic stent seems an alternative to surgery, although stenting in this area is thought to be difficult and few studies have been reported so far. After three attempts at different interventional approaches,a stent was successfully placed in the obstructed segment under fluoroscopic guidance. After the procedure, the patient's abdominal distension and abdominal pain were significantly better than before.CONCLUSION For patients with proximal colonic obstruction,self-expandable metallic stent placement under fluoroscopic guidance could be considered as a feasible treatment to relieve abdominal distension and pain in patients with acute bowel obstruction. It has the characteristics of high safety and high patient tolerance. However, further study is still needed.
文摘This paper describes a characteristics-mix finite element method for the computation of incompressible Navi-er-Stokes equations with variable density. Finally, several numerical experiments are given to show that this method is efficient for variable density incompressible flows problem.
