We investigated the one-dimensional diamond ladder in the momentum lattice platform. By inducing multiple twoand four-photon Bragg scatterings among specific momentum states, we achieved a flat band system based on the diamond model, precisely controlling the coupling strength and phase between individual lattice sites. Utilizing two lattice sites couplings, we generated a compact localized state associated with the flat band, which remained localized throughout the entire time evolution. We successfully realized the continuous shift of flat bands by adjusting the corresponding nearest neighbor hopping strength, enabling us to observe the complete localization process. This opens avenues for further exploration of more complex properties within flat-band systems, including investigating the robustness of flat-band localized states in disordered flat-band systems and exploring many-body localization in interacting flat-band systems. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on anal pruritus after anorectal surgery.Methods:Ninety-eight patients with anal pruritus after anorectal surgery in our hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into two groups, the control group(50 cases)and the study group(48 cases),according to the treatment plan. The control group was under a simple western medicine treatment plan, while the study group was under an integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment plan. The overall efficacy, severity of anal pruritus, time to eliminate clinical symptoms, and anxiety and depression scores of the two groups of patients under different treatment plans were compared. Results:After two weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was 95.83%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(82.00%,P<0.05).After 7 and 14 days of treatment, the anal pruritus scores improved significantly in both the groups, but the study group was superior to the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.01).The time of disappearance of skin itching and skin damage in the study group was shorter than that in the control group. After 14 days of treatment, the anxiety and depression scores of both groups were lower than those after 7 days of treatment;however, there was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:In the clinical treatment of anorectal postoperative diseases, such as anal pruritus, the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine can significantly improve the symptoms of pruritus, shorten the time of disappearance of clinical symptoms, improve depression and anxiety, and create a positive clinical application value in promoting the rehabilitation of patients and improving their quality of life. 展开更多

AIM:To evaluate the outcome of non-malignant and non-cirrhotic patients with portal cavernoma and to determine the predictors for survival.METHODS:Between July 2002 and June 2010,we retrospectively enrolled all consecutive patients admitted to our department with a diagnosis of portal cavernoma without abdominal malignancy or liver cirrhosis. The primary endpoint of this observational study was death and cause of death.Independent predictors of survival were identified using the Cox regression model.RESULTS:A total of 64 patients were enrolled in the study.During a mean follow-up period of 18±2.41mo,7 patients died.Causes of death were pulmonary embolism(n=1),acute leukemia(n=1),massive esophageal variceal hemorrhage(n=1),progressive liver failure(n=2),severe systemic infection secondary to multiple liver abscesses(n=1)and accident(n=1).The cumulative 6-,12-and 36-mo survival rates were 94.9%,86%and 86%,respectively.Multivariate Cox regression analysis demonstrated that the presence of ascites(HR=10.729,95%CI:1.209-95.183,P=0.033)and elevated white blood cell count(HR=1.072,95%CI:1.014-1.133,P=0.015)were independent prognostic factors of non-malignant and non-cirrhotic patients with portal cavernoma. The cumulative 6-,12-and 36-mo survival rates were significantly different between patients with and without ascites(90%,61.5%and 61.5%vs 97.3%,97.3%and 97.3%,respectively,P=0.0008).CONCLUSION:The presence of ascites and elevated white blood cell count were significantly associated with poor prognosis in non-malignant and non-cirrhotic patients with portal cavernoma. 展开更多
