Effects of Three Kinds of Sewage Sludge on Physiological Characteristics of Flower Plants

Effects of dried sludge, digested sludge and composted sludge(obtained from the raw sludge of a large sewage treatment plant in Chongqing City) on the physiological characteristics of Salvia splendens, Tagetes patula and Petunia hybrida were studied. The results showed that the application of sludge could significantly promote the growth of three kinds of flowers and improve their quality. The effects of sludge application rate on the biological characteristics of three kinds of flowers were significant. The optimal application rate of the sludge for the growth of three kinds of flowers was 50%(mass percentage) for S. splendens and 37.5% for P. hybrida and T. patula. The effect of sludge type on the biological characteristics was not significant. However, among the three types of sludge, composted sludge had the highest organic matter content and cation exchange capacity and the lowest salt content, so the improvement of garden soil by composted sludge was relatively significant and safe.

Study on Improvement of Flowering Cherry Soil in Nanshan Botanical Park of Chongqing City

[Objectives] This study was conducted to analyze the current status of soil quality in Chongqing and provide scientific data for the rejuvenation of flowering cherry in the botanical park of the city. [Methods] With the flowering cherry soil in Chongqing Botanical Park as the research object, the typical soil in this area was investigated and improved. [Results] After applying soil conditioners, the pH value of the surface soil decreased from 7.32 to 6.34, and the pH value of the bottom soil decreased from 7.52 to 6.77;and the surface soil organic matter increased from 35.2 to 54.1 g/kg, and the bottom soil organic matter increased from 15.7 to 26.3 g/kg. [Conclusions] The soil has strong buffering capacity, and it is difficult to achieve rapid adjustment of soil pH and organic matter in actual work. Soil improvement needs to be carried out step by step. After targeted improvement, further maintenance is required in the later stage.

Analysis on Present Situation of Anaerobic Digestion Products of Sludge in Landscaping Application and Market Demand in Chongqing

Taking the anaerobic digestion products of sludge as the object, through the analysis on the development of garden substrate market at home and abroad and the development status of horticultural products from the anaerobic digestion products, the direction for the utilization of the anaerobic digestion products of sludge was pointed out. Based on the demand of Chongqing’s garden market, this paper analyzed the potential utilization of sludge anaerobic digestion products in Chongqing, and briefly introduced the research status of landscaping utilization of sludge anaerobic digestion products in Chongqing, in order to provide reference for the industry.

The State of ICT Education in China:A Literature Review

Information and Communication Technology(ICT)in education has made significant progress in China in the last two decades and this paper provides an overall presentation of its prevalence and usage.In this paper,a literature review has been conducted based on the research in the field of ICT in education.Eleven major issues have been classified and discussed according to their similarities and differences.As an overview and synthetic angle,this paper focuses on how those issues are studied,how they have evolved,and what results have been carried out from the research.
